This was the most INSANE and AMAZING guitar solo I have ever heard Tommy perform! Gary Moore is for ME, famous for making tasty guitar solos, long songs, and songs that make you feel like you just wanna drift away and let go.
Tommy did a friggin AMAZING job and I am surprised how extremely professional this was. I have no words. As usual. Jesus......

I watched this reaction at least 10 times and still can't get enought of your disbelieving face during the long guitar solo. That alone shows how good this solo is. I have all of Tommys covers on a playlist in my car and I listen to this song at least ones a day when I drive to work. I think this is together with "Emerald" one of the most underrated covers from Tommy. Thank you for this great reaction. - Greetings from Germany

Hello David, you know, this song is as special to me as "the price "was for you. Gary Moore was one of my first albums I bought back in the 80's and this song is so much in my heart. What Tommy did with this song, for me, was like ... I can't describe it. It hit me like a bus. I haven't heard it in a long time in I started to cry the second I heard the guitar. Tommy did this song more than justice and Gary would have been proud. By the way, I don't think Tommy plays the trombone 😁

Hello First, thank you so much for one of the best reactions on the web. Tommy Johansson's voice is one of the absolute best in the world. A fun fact is that he is a big fan of Gary Moore who is his idol. And the guitar he uses in the video is actually Gary Moore's own guitar. I'm not sure how to describe this. The best thing about all of TJ's covers is that even though they show off his amazing guitar playing and vocals, they always serve the song, rather than bing just about the display of his skills, and that makes him a great musician. I am familiar with Gary Moore but never really heard his music I'm sure he was played on rock radio stations in the US but I always listen to top 40 and he was not really a top 40 artist I wonder how close Tommy's version is to Gary's? I have never heard a guitar solo that long before how does he remember what notes to play? He has magic fingers for sure it's amazing he can do these covers every week he does blow my mind too!!!!

Hey, I got like #100! Great tribute to one of the greatest Blues-guitarists of all times - or greatest guitarists, period. I had the pleasure to experience Gary Moore live in the 90's. i bought the tickets as birthday present for my wife, who played E-guitar, too - memories, R.I.P. I'm still waiting for your reaction on Thommy's cover to ANTHEM.Written by Benny/Bjorn/T.Rice for CHESS Rock opera.It's his fave one cause as he said he had learned that song in order to perform it at the age of 15 in front of the whole school at his very first time(if i remember well)And he did it fine,so he's got nice memories as a child from this experience.

Ok my two cents, this must be the best cover of empty rooms on RU-vid, said that... For who doesn't know the original song, this cover is not even close to the original (empty rooms live from Stockholm). I mean it's perfect every note is played perfectly but really you can feel it's not like Gary's touch (obviously), I don't know maybe Gary played the spacing between some notes with some upbeat that gives more punch to the phrasing, let alone the tone of the guitar. If you play the song with a perfect timing it won't sounds as good as the original, that's the point imho, imprecisions or volunteer timing modification (the player touch) made the solo much better on the original and sounds much more passionate than every cover. This cover is beautifully done but sounds kinda sterile like every other Gary moore fan's covers. I'm not here to criticize this cover, which is very good, I'm here to do you guys a favor... Listen to the original.
