Thank you for finally checking out Tommy's music! Tommy Johansson is the co-lead guitarist in Sabaton, fronts his own band, Majestica and uploads a new power metal cover every Friday to his YT channel! You can choose any of his covers and be blown away! Start w Steelheart's She's Gone... team Tommy will come round!
@@dlind1985That is so sweet and encouraging! I've taken a month offline but I'm catching up! After Tommy did his Christmas calendar last year... I gave him 2yrs to go solo... now, at 200k subs on YT and Team Tommy promoting him all over YT, he's chosen to step out of Sabaton...which I think is smart and timely!
This is a good song to start with! Because it shows the extreme range and versatility in Tommys voice. And we get a glimpse of him as a performer. And it doesn't hurt that the song is awsome too!
Tommy can sing crazy high, his range is F2-C6 thats from baryton to female soprano, he is so good, playing 10 instruments, I call him a musical genius! ANd it was just a haunted old mansion in Italy. haha Thanx do more Tommy, you wont regret it!

He is still lead singer in his own band Majestica (former called ReinXeed). I saw them live this summer and they are in the process of making a new album. He has a really great voice and a broad range which always makes it interesting to see what he does. I like to be surprised with his arrangements of songs you do not expect to hear as power metal like Weekend - Blinding lights and Spice Girls - Viva Forever and all the xmas songs. Talking about xmas you should really listen to Majestica’s A Christmas Carol it is great and when you are going that way you will hear Chris David and jump into Wizdoom start with the lovely Way of the lost. And if you can’t get enough of Tommy and Chris singing together check out Tommy’s cover of Murder in the Skies featuring Chris.
You raise me up and shes gone will let you see his wonderful range to, an absolute must!! And queens "bohemian rhapsody ". Sooooo, sooo happy you finally found Tommy!!
You have opened the door to an entire WORLD of vocal marvel, guys. He is just unbelievably good - all while remaining humble and friendly. One just has to adore him! ♥
Great reaction!!!!! I would suggest that you listen to Tommy’s version of Steelheart’s “She’s Gone”, or possibly “You Raise Me Up (One Octave challenge)” next. Actually……you can’t go wrong with any of his songs.
Closer to Christmas i suggest that you listen to Tommy with his band Majestica. They have a whole album with Christmas songs and my own favorite is ”The joy of Christmas” that has become one of my all time favorite Christmas songs Since i heard it for the first time. This song should be played on every radio station all over the world at Christmas time.
Oh forgot the suggestions in all excitement.. cover of I never let you go from steelhart or who wants to live forever from queen.. and then ( as contrast ) sound of silence .. Tommy is impressive in the higher range but his tone is amazing in his lower range
Yes! More Tommy!!! He really IS a one man show! He's quite litteraly one of the most talented musicians out there!!! Fun fact! Tommy won the 2009 Swedish Karaoke Championship! 🙂
YEEESSSS!!!!!! .. and Tommy made the music for Floors covers of frozen 2, oblivion and adagio ( there are more too) 😀 Ohh and by the way Floor and Tommy has both covered alone .. if you look in the comments of Tommy’s version you can find Floor joking with him wondering why it sounds familiar😉
I would suggest "You Raise Me Up" One octave challenge, there he sings one octave higher than the original the whole song, as your next Tommy Johansson reaction.
Tommy's range is out of this world it's insane how high he can sing! Those last notes are hard to reach even for a like ultra soprano then when you have a guy doing it makes it even more extreme!!
Please react to much more of Tommy!!! He drops a new video almost every Friday. All are great!!! Also, he is not married to Floor Jenson, the drummer of Sabaton is.
Let's just get some facts correct. 1. The first picture is Pär, the bassist. 2. Tommy has still his own band, Majestica. 3. It is the drummer, Hannes who is married to Floor.
I'd suggest his cover of "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. Best and most worthy Queen cover ever made! 🤘 And while you're at it, check out his other Queen covers, "The show must go on" and "Who wants to live forever".
LOL - “Babyface Meatloaf” has been my nickname for Tommy for quite some time now. Looks a bit like him, some passages have the same sound, and DEFINITELY has the same theatrical flair. The guy is just an all-around brilliant musician and PERFORMER.
Hi guys! Good reaction. ❤ Can you listen Dan Vasc? He is a brazilian metal singer. He sing power metal, synfonic metal, pop, rock and opera too. Dan sing Nightwish, Sabaton, Manowar, Lady Gaga, The Witcher's songs (metal version),...Please, listen: Amazing Grace, Bring Me To Life, Adeste Fidelis, My Mother Told Me, And Black Wind Fire and Steel feat Luis Mariutti , guitar bass (Angra 's former member. Is insane. ❤ Rio-Brazil
Floor is married to the dummer of Sabaton (Hannes van Dahl), not the guitarist. Tommy is phenomenal :) Tommy vs Meatloaf? No contest lol Tommy is worlds apart. Tommy has a lot of fun with making these videos, so just remember the tongue-in-cheek here :)
Do you like rockers singing operas? Then you have to listen to Dan Vasc, I'm curious what you think of Angels we had heard on high or Amazing Grace. But its diversity is best shown in Bring me to life
One big thing.....Tommy allegedly does not appreciate it when people compare him to Meat Loaf.....so please don't do that.....i loved Meat Loaf too, but they really look nothing alike.....plus Tommy has a much cuter face and is wayyyyy more talented than meat Loaf ever was !!!.....please please refrain from mentioning that again......thanks !!!
John you need to get your info right Bro!!! If you want to grow you need to be serious of what you talking about. I love you guy's but get the fact first.❤
