Good splash setup, especially than one splash, this setup is really nice. :)

Would have been nice to see a breakdown of all the gear. cymbal sizes/brands etc. Nice setup.

All the pads I play in this video are hooked up to my TD-30. The 4 PD-85s on the left and right, along with a couple other off camera cymbals are hooked up to a TD-20. No midi in my setup. No idea what a metal adpack is and I don't have any experience with Pro Tools, so I can't really help you with that. Sorry.

These are all TD-30 sounds. No VST's. I agree, I do need a better camera. I only have my cell phone. What can I say, I spent all my cash on the kit. Did you try changing the video settings to 720p? It might play a bit better than the default.

Nice setup. I did't see you touch the 10 inch toms however in the video. Also why two snares? Anyway, like others would love to see a specific breakdown including mounts. Thanks.

Hello brother, I want to buy a kit (Roland TD30-kv) while mixing acoustic cymbals. You know (Meinl, Sabian, Paiste and others). But I want to buy separate pads to leave me cheaper. How it is called the cable is connected the module to each pad? Do they come already included these cables if I buy a complete set ?. What do you think of my idea of mixing acoustic with electric ?. I hope you can help me.

Hi there, I'm kind of new to this stuff. Are you running all those pads and cymbals through one module? When recording a drum set like this , are you able to multi-track record? for example, I run all my 8 mics to M-Audio ProFire interface and to my Mac (garageband) through a firewire to do multi-track recording. I'm able to control each tom and overheads separately. So, is this kind of thing like this??? Just looking for some answers, thanks. oh, and don't worry about your camera, i use my cell too :)) they great.

Who makes the splash pads you have? I purchased a CY5 but don’t like how it sits on the stand. This looks like a good option : help a subscriber out.

I did change the kick for the recording of this video as Audacity was recording it way to bass heavy. The actual kick drum I have loaded on this kit is different from what you hear in the recording and it has a bit more thump to it. That's where most of my recording issues were. I have also been experimenting with using some ride cymbals as crashes to get a lower pitched/darker sound. It seems to be working. Thanks for the comment.

love the set up. how do u input another extra toms and cymbals? do u have additional drum MIDI? and do you have any idea how can i record it with metal adpack drums? No problem with protools software rite?

May I ask. Did you have to buy another stand separate to add on more toms? Or is that the stand that ships in the box and it Expands out bigger?

Nice sounds !! Where did they come from, the TD-30 module or external sources? You play too fast for your cam... We can only observe your accents on the bell of your ride, yet we can hear more ;) Great kit, I'll soon have one of my own.
