53:49 is oddly such an interesting character detail a bit of a tw//// suicidal, self destructive, or intrusive thoughts in a character and in abstract when any person experiences any sort of trauma or instance that induces that kind of thinking, it can be really difficult to get over. the thoughts and habits kinda stick to you. so the split second call of the void makes perfect sense, and his reckless actions the entire time make even more sense. tommy is honestly such an amazing actor and he has such an incredible grasp on his character's emotions. not to mention the character himself is a wonderfully written character.

I know Wilbur probably didn’t mean this (or knowing wilbur he probably did mean this) but as someone who has taken many history courses, both in Confucianism and Daoism Ying/Yin are both considered dark, cold, and feminine while Yang is light, masuline, related to heaven. So not only is he complimenting Quackity, he’s backhanded himself and called Quackity more of a man than him💀

You know what Quackity and Wilbur are treating tommy as, a toy. When you were younger you probably had a friend/classmate/sibling who had this cool new toy, and even if the toy was made out of terrible material and had terrible designs you still wanted it. You wanted it because no one else would have it. Wilbur and Quackity are acting like children. Their playing a childish game of Tug-of-war with Tommy being the thing that is tugged. They want Tommy so the other doesnt have Tommy. This was just a weird thought I was having while rewatching this stream/video.

Jeez this stream was actually so sad and all of them did such a good job, especially Tommy. They didn’t just do a straight forward manipulation, but every time they took their manipulation a bit too far they would give Tommy praise and half-assed apologies with half-assed promises. Wilbur and quakity’s manipulation reminds me a lot of my old friend’s manipulation. They make you think it’s ok because they acknowledge what they did and apologize any time that the victim starts to catch on to the manipulation happening.

tommy n wilbur did such a good job at acting in this stream! tommy did great acting childish in response to things like he was trying to chill the situation and getting serious and stressed out about the decisions n stuff! and wilbur did amazing at manipulating tommy and like going between treating him badly and making him think he cares, and keeping an underlying feeling that he does care somewhere deep down, but not enough to not be abusing tommy rn. idk its just amazingly believable and they did a great job!
