Johnette - Tomorrow's Gonna Be. Solo recording from the soundtrack to the film 'Echo Park' (A&M Records, 1986), pre-dating the first Concrete Blonde album. And yes, the track is credited to simply 'Johnette'.
Another jaw dropper, this band delivers on everything..so fine a production are all their recordings, cb's music moves in, thru and around you with such emotion. to me each and every one is epically individual..total rock artistry..

Where can I find this album, I originally thought it was the echo park soundtrack but then I noticed the back had a bunch of CB deep cuts, so im assuming this is actually an album released by concrete blonde. If anyone knows please tell as its impossible to find the echo park album on anything but vinyl, which is really sad because there are other really good songs on that album. I would get a vinyl player just for this album.
