Was Watching the movie "Final Countdown" and thought of this. Music: Falling Glacier Last day on Earth Contact Deathrace Provided by: Slip.stream Free Download/Stream: get.slip.stream/fxw87A
Picard would never alter the timeline unless he had no other choice. For example if the klingons had 2x the amount of ships attacking Archanis and some of those ships were from the 24th century then picard would intervene
In the Andromeda series, the ship goes to the past, arriving hours before the invasion of the Nietzschean empire and discovers that there are twice as many ships and is forced to eliminate half of them.
@@cristianruiz1095 1. It was 3 times the number (1500 Nietzschian ships when history recorded 500) 2. Dylan was trying to destroy them all, only for it to result with 500 surviving. 3. This was one of the really good episodes from season 1. Still enjoy it
Apparently you’ve never seen The Final Countown, where the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier travels back through time just prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor. This little clip was a takeoff on that. Picard didn’t take the Enterprise into the rift. He tried to avoid it but it followed him and swallowed up his ship.
I have seen the final countdown, thank you. I also get that the E-D was trying to avoid being sucked in. That still doesn't change that Starfleet and Picard would not have fired on the patrol. They could have easily absorbed Klingon fire and out run them as well. @@stephenfischer7885
This is almost similar to the movie, The Final Countdown, where the U.S.S. Nimitz encounters a Temporal vortex and brings it back to December 7th, 1941, just before the attack on Pearl Harbor, then yanked back to 1984.
🖖😎👍Very cool and very impressive on your rendition of The Final Countdown in a more futureristic setting indeed in every detail way shape and form and format provided for sure Sir!,👌.
Wow amazing like some I had issues with Picard doing any thing that would of ultered the time line but the Enterprise being sucked back in to the worm hole before engaging Klingon fleet is a clever save but lol The Enterprise destroying 2 KDF ships and we presume interacting with the other FED ships crew sending a shuttle to the FED starbase one to the planet and to Nebula to scan KDF fleet and probably the KDF fleet scanning the FED shuttle is most definitely going to change time line , my guess is Picard would assess situation gather they were in the past and the means to how they travelled here not wanting to change the tme line not wanting to change the past he would of regrettably left the FED ship to its fate moving away on Low power low warp to a place to lay low once the solution or as it did worm hole reapered set course home lol ...Picard is by the book in that regard, but great animation 👍
To quote Independence Day: Not Bad. Not too bad at all. 😉 I was waiting to see the Tardis in that time tunnel. hehe Would have been interesting if the shuttlecraft were able to lure a couple of the ships back to the Enterprise. Would it have been as bad or would the attack have been slightly less brutal with a few ships less. 😉
The rendering of ships , the brighter metallic look of the Enterprise is really nice and the glow of the engines. Everything was much more vibrant. I would like to see what you can do with the damage models in the future. Very well done.
Good cinematography and choice of music. Remember, phaser strips start at the edges and swing around the arc of the strip to meet up at the point of departure. You don't just "get a phaser beam" off the discharge point. But I love your work. Keep going!
As disappointed to not see the Enterprise D tangle with the Klingon fleet as I was to not see the Nimitz and her air wing attack the Japanese fleet. Well done. Maybe a shuttle should have been left behind with an engineer onboard who would have been instrumental in the design of the Enterprise D? : )
I thought that whole scenario seemed familiar. I first watched The Final Countdown back in 1980. I think you did a great job in reenacting it, Star Trek style of course. But, as I recall, when the storm reappeared, the Nimitz turned herself into the storm path instead of being pulled in backwards. Lastly, does this mean that Dr. Laura Brahms had a stake in this, much as CMDR Richard Owens did with both the designing and building of the Nimitz class and the event that would lead to his creating Tideman Enterprises?
The Enterprise D looks great except for one detail. The impulse engines on the saucer section are not lite up so not working. That's a lot of work for the third impulse engine on the Strardrive secondary hull to be doing.
decades ago I wrote a story about how the TOS & TNG crews meet & work together basically LURSA'S SON goes back to stop PRAXIS from exploding B'eTOR'S daughter is a time agent for STARFLEET and she's ALEXANDER'S WIFE she gets PICARD & CREW on the rebuilt ENTERPRISE D to go back to stop him the 2 crews meet & then work together
I don't think Picard would risk altering the timeline by destroying the Klingon Battle cruisers. I don't think he'd even try to scare 'em off with the sheer size of the Enterprise especially, if it meant his tactical officer could potentially disappear...or worse.
Nicely done. Excellent animation. But Picard would never intentionally interfere in past events and thus alter the timeline unless the very future of the Federation depended on it. It would be a fundamental violation of everything he believes in.
Yeah, no. Picard would definitely NOT have done that. If Picard wasn’t captain yet, then I still doubt whomever managed to elevate themselves to the position of captain of the Federation flagship would have done it either. Temporal prime directive is a thing, even before Picard.
