You've waited long enough. Here's Henry.
He was certainly the most difficult and time consuming of all my recent RWS customs, but I'm pleased with the result. I cut off his original running board and built a new one with balsa wood, which was glued to the body higher up so he has no need for splashers. His piston valve was made larger to accommodate. His buffer beam was filed down on the sides and the slope sits further back, akin to an LMS black 5. I extended his firebox with card stock, smoothed over with putty. This meant I had to move his dome forward. I used the base of Gordon's tender for Henry, so he also has the black strip along the bottom. I cut the tender to better reflect a Stanier tender. I used card stock and putty to fill in the gaps. He is painted Tamiya TS-35 Park Green, Tamiya TS-49 Bright Red, Tamiya TS-14 Gloss Black and Aussie Export Matt Black.
