I just love when the guests stall and tell extra stories just to keep the interview going. This is a testament of how comfortable J and Tank make people feel when they sit on the couch.
Such a refreshing young artist. I like seeing his demeanor. We are losing gentlemen in R&B, IMO. He carries himself well. Old Soul Tone. Will check out his music. Much success to this young talent. 💯
In 2018/2019 I went to a HER concert. Tone came out as her opener and I was ready to head to the bar because most of the newer rnb just was not hitting for me and I figured this was just going to be a performance I couldn't connect with. By the end of his set I was like "WHO IS THIS!!?!?!?!?!?" The boy can SING. He hit a falsetto in one of the songs that had me stand up. My IG caption that night said Rnb is in good hands with this one here. It still is. Also, shout out to him for being the first person (I think) who has Patti in his top 6. If I were to do a top 5, she'd be in it.
The fact when ya’ll were breaking down the MJ song, as soon as J Valentine said the next line “relax” and Tank got up cracking up 😂😂😂 that will be a classic moment to me.
Awww, "little" Tone just stole my whole heart in this interview! No shade, yes he's grown, but I'm old enough to be his mom!! 🤣🤣🤣 I've listened to a few of his songs here on YT, so I KNOW how AMAZING of an artist he is. But I had no clue he wrote one of my FAVORITE Chris Brown songs! Not to mention, he seems so humble and genuinely grateful for all of the success he's garnered. I wish him nothing but THE BEST as he continues to GROW in this BUSINESS of music...💝🙏🏾💝🙏🏾 P.S. I've had to catch a lot of the replays lately and I really miss being in the chat (S.R. How Van). But you guys and the team NEVER cease to bring the HEAT, so keep doing what you're doing- I LOVE YOU!! 💝💝💝💝
Tone was one of my favorite young creative couch conversations. 8 hope Tank and JV stay closer in his life and keep giving him solid advice because he really admires you both as was heard and seen. R&B Podcast continues to enlighten and educate!!
J please,, you took me all the way out at 1:18:04 with that famous laugh. Talking about "relax" and Tank had to get up😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Yall have no idea what yall do for me with the comedy and laughter alone...my therapist. Can't THANK YOU enough🥰❤
Thank you R&B Money once again for introducing me and your audience to another gem. Tone is super talented, he speaks and carries himself well. This was a great episode as always 👏🏽
Tone Stith is such a South Jersey guy!! His Voltron was fire!!!!!! His voice is so pure!! May he find more success in the R&B spaces!! He’s definitely light in all spaces. He’s a good guy!!
Tone Stith been grinding for a minute. He definitely has that R&B vibe that I felt when Chris first dropped. He is up. Hope more people get to see his potential
I would love to see the following artist interviewed on this platform: Brandy Monica SWV Kelly Price Jazmin Sullivan Tony! Toni! Toné! Fantasia Mya Chante’ Moore Ashanti Joe Boyz II Men Mariah Carey Toni Braxton Chris Brown Kelis Tamia Victoria Monét Solange Beyoncé SZA Usher Case Ciara Tamar Braxton Let’s make it happen! Congratulations on all of your success! Much deserved!
Big up Tone Stith..Always puts out heat. Speaking of jersey artist, i would love to see Jaheim up here! His catalogue and impact needs to be discussed. Flowers need to be given💯
I’ll never forget the first time I heard Tone live at the H.e.r concert. He sounded sooo good I downloaded all his music during his set. I’ve been a fan ever since. tone is 🔥🔥🔥
When Tank talks about his past, it is clear he really put the work in, and that is why he’s maintained longevity all these years. Ok I just looked his songs up, and secrets stood out to me. He has a great tone and his production is very clean. 😊 “ you gotta sit on the horse bro.” The person with the Olive oil was definitely threatened and sabotaged you YoungBlood.
I love Durand Bernar’s voice, but I always think bout him when they talk bout the intention of R&B as a man talking to/about a woman (which I agree with and prefer), but I wonder what they think about the Durand Bernars and Dre Scots.
So happy! He is the artist I've listened the most this year! So talented and consistent! Energy , I need you, FWM, BED. Could you ask him , where he finds so much inspiration and diversity in the sounds and rythms, because except his voice, each song are so different, which I like. Thanks for honoring him among you, the kings and queens of RnB ❤
One of my favorite artists and writer ever. Glad to see his success and love his music is pure Soul & R&B no doubt. This guy is a genius behind other artists and his own music 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love love love r & b money podcast for me being a 58 year old woman I never knew the behind the scenes and I never knew so many artists came from the church
OMG I just love Tank, his twinkling eyes and that dam piano🥰 Tank and Tone was bout to take it to church with the intro to Top 5. Lord have mercy! Hallelujah! Oh and J, I didn't grow up in church per say either but we still God's children now🥰😃
just for clarity: unless you are saved in Christ, you are considered God’s CREATION, yes. that we ALL are. but His children are those who have accepted Christ as their Savior.
I just love this Podcast! I really enjoy being introduced to new artists. I just looked up this young man on Apple Music and listing to him. I throughly enjoyed his interview. I liked him singing along with the top 5 song. He was a great guest.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Great episode....I immediately went on Spotify and familiarized myself with Tone's music...cause Liquor is my sh*t!!!! All I'm gonna say is TANK HAS THEE COLDEST RUNS EVER and he didn't need to show off like that 😂!!!!
"I'll hit a kid." J!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have never heard of Tone Stith but after hearing his Top 5 artists and Top 5 R&B songs, he is alright with me! Great interview!
I tell people, networking and word of mouth is still king, some of us don't wanna support each other and then we afraid to go outside...glad you guys mentioned that
This why i like tone cause of his musical taste how he can go from way back in the day to todays music. He seem genuine unlike most artists. He just good need some good ppl behind him too push him more. But love his music. Real r&b music!
We bought a beat from a producer like a year ago. I was vibing with the beat so heavy. Fast forward to finishing and releasing our song, our distributor revealed to us that the producer sampled Tone Stith "Do I Ever" when we tried to release our song "Do You" to streaming stores. I was shocked because I honestly never heard "Do I Ever". And I basically wrote a (female's) response to "Do I Ever" without ever hearing the actual song but only vibing with the sample. It's on our channel. I could not believe "Do I Ever" wasn't pushed harder or a radio hit 🔥. Much respect to Tone Stith. 💕~J. Bunny~
Wait i did not know he was from marlton, nj. That’s dope asf. Love when folks from my state (especially south jersey) make it and show the world its some big talent here in and out of music.
I enjoyed this ep so much. I have been following this young man for a minute and its great to see his growth. I love the way Tank and J Valentine support him. Three great guys! So refreshing to see.
I am glad to see him on the podcast. Tone always been that dude. Liquor, Make Love, and Beat It Up are my go to Chris Brown songs by Tone. I'm ready for him to drop his next mixtape. His mixtapes are smooth.
