Yeah this plugin is dope. S25 is cool, nice keybed, but I'm waiting to see how they integrate it with Maschine as I don't really have much use for it on it's own as it is now, since I can browse all the Komplete stuff in Maschine already.

What is the diff between Electra2 and Nemesis? Nemesis appears to be a a "subset" of Electra2? Is this the case?

The big draw for Nemesis is the Neo FM engine.

It's up to you, I feel each will have it's own character so it's all about how you work. I don't think you need to stick to one vst, but that's just me.

I can't answer that. Depends on the presets you purchase, I'd say most will work with the base version but you'd have to check with the preset creator for actual requirements.

Get both bro.nexus has cool sounds I swear.if you hate it get omnisphere.for a start I'd go with Nexus/omnisphere or both and then get electra2 as I learn sound design.production is a process.but all those best producers you know have almost all available plugins.if you are a beginner I'd probably tell you to get Nexus /omnisphere first.everything is easy there .then proceed to get the rest

Don’t spend so much money on so many VST. If you want the best bank for your buck go Omni, you won’t need another VST again. If you want a cheaper version of that go Electra, you can find presets online and you will be good to go. I like Nexus for Pads, arpeggios, and some cool pluck sounds.

It works in anything that can load vst plugins.

I bought a VST from GospelMusicians and my Reason software didn't accept it so I wasn't able to use it in the DAW and therefore wasn't able to use it in my productions. I downloaded the Demo version of Electra2 and it doesn't even show up as a plugin in Reason. I was able to play each one of them as a standalone. I am hoping that the Demo version of Electra2 was only meant to be demoed as a standalone and that it will show up in my DAW should I purchase it. It's hard getting responses from these companies where it comes down to asking tech support questions.

@@SoundsAndGear No not at all. Some VST's just won't work at all in Reason regardless of what folder you put them in. In fact, if a plugin is enabled and Reason doesn't recognize it, it will crash Reason (meaning, it will hesitate as it scan the plugin) It will then send a dialogue message letting you know some plugins were disabled. If you go into manage plugins in Reason and you look at the plugin condition, it will say for that plugin "crashed". It seems there are different VST formats. Apparently the two products that I purchased from Gospel Musician, through a third party, don't work in Reason software. The two products are Bassalicious and Pure Synth. These two VST's are fire, especially Bassalicious. Well I talked to the owners or developers at GospelMusicians and they said that Reason was very difficult in working with them and they never could write the code or whatever they needed to do to get the instruments or VST's to work in the Reason's DAW. Incidentally, GospelMusician discloses what DAWs their VST programs work with and what DAWs they don't work with. Wouldn't you know it, Reason is the only DAW that their programs won't work with. The third party company I bought their VST through, totally dropped the ball on the disclosure part. They are giving me a credit however for my purchase. When I went to Reason about it, they said it has to be a certain VST. So apparently their are different VST formats out there and Reason don't work with all VST's

Very weird indeed. I don't use Reason so I'm not familiar with their VST requirements. But since VST is a standard format it's just strange that they have different or specialized requirements for plugins to work.

On Electra2 one patch can integrate 12 independent sounds. On Serum you can animate each knob by 3 envelopes, 4 LFOs and many of 17 Mod Sources and at the same time. Both reaches the best sound quality I've ever heard. Presets and effects are astonishing.-
