In this video you'll find a series of exercises that will shape your legs, make them lean, strong and ready for those summer dresses.
For an athlete the power generated from the legs is essential in order to jump, spring, fast reaction and endurance.
With training the lower part of your body you will build strong knees, hips and ankle joints which reduces the risk of injury.
But let’s not forget everyday life and tasks we do like going up and down the stairs, running for the bus or walking around town, these exercises will increase your stability, your balance and develop your overall body movements to keep you ready for anything coming your way .
Legs exercises also help with the blood flow therefore circulation of fluids stagnant in your lower body. You legs will automatically feel lighter and relieved, your body will thank you and your mind will feel happy and ready for more!

I just finished a weekend of intense master classes, and I knew I wanted to workout today but wasn't feeling any of the workouts I usually do so i'm doing a bunch of yours and i'm feeling so much more motivated♡

Hi there, Watson had blood clot from his heart that stopped in his leg. We almost lost him, but the vets were fabulous and did everything to save him. Watson had no intention to leave us and he's now using his back leg properly and jumping around like crazy! He's a super cat! :) Lots of love Alessia

Hey alssia 👋👋 think you could shed some light on an issue I have? I streching everyday and have been doing it for years cause I too am a dancer and I noticed that the second I stop my routine my flexibility lessens almost instantly for some context I strech an HR a day and by that he is done I'm able to go into my splits but the second I stop it goes away and I've never understood that?

You have to do flexibility based workouts. It will make it easier to be flexible continuaslly. You must be very tense all the time which causes you to be a lot less flexible.

I have a suspicion that I can't execute the first exercise correctly because my turnout is so bad :/ And by the way I really like how long your hair has gotten, it suits you very well :)

I struggle with those fluores because my turn out is terrible too. I never can tell whether my supporting hip is rotated properly because once my body finds a divot it doesn't want to move.

I was wondering if you could make a video on how to lift your knee when doing a developpé to the side because I can't seem to be able to put my leg closer to my torso and I end up leaning towards the opposite side.

Whenever you say to 'keep your leg super stretched' (@ ~1m 25s) or 'super straight knees' (@ ~ 4m 30s), etc., would you recommend that someone with naturally hyperextended knees focus on keeping the leg straight or fully hyperextended? Thanks!

Hi Sarah When you think of stretching the leg, for hyperextended knees you need to think of engaging your muscles, it's not just about keeping them straight, If you push your knees backwards as it would be "natural" for you, you'll end up hurting yourself on the long run. Engage muscles is my tip to you. Love Alessia

Hi Anissa, hyperextension is something that your body either has or not. Watson is ok now, and back running like crazy. Unfortunately we found out he has a heart condition and few months ago he had a blood clot that went from his heart to the leg. We almost lost him but the vets were so fantastic that saved his life! Watson had no intention on leaving us, he wanted to come back home, no matter what :) Lots of love Alessia
