This etude is dumb. There. I said it. But it's got an important purpose: tonguing quickly in spurts. For those looking to improve your fast single-tongue, this is your video.
Us saxophonists have been playing etude for years!! Check the Ferling book. It's the eighth one, although there's a lot that makes this different from the Rose study. The differences between the two are noticeable but several moments are eerily note for note.
I asked my clarinet teacher (who i love to talk about your videos with), "ya think i should email Earspasm and ask him to review the etudes or no because he already made those videos?", so here we go i guess. Thanks!
