Please do more of these exercices, i really enjoy it, almost the xenoblade soundrack that is Amazing, and NieR soundrack that is really godlike for my ears
Man I wasted all that time in theory class when I could've just waited like 10 years for this video. Although I did get all of them right so I GUESS college paid off. On another note, I like this type of video! Fun little ear exercises :D Good work as always Master Barouch
It's extremely difficult to know the exact note without perfect pitch! I absolutely can't do it, and probably will never be able to. I only included them because it seemed strange not to.
4/10! Which honestly I will take and be grateful 😂 Crises almost tricked me. I wasn't expecting the sudden change in sound and I would have been wrong if that hadn't been included XD (To be specific i could choose the sound but i would never be able to name the note. I did not learn an instrument all my life, i sang by ear)
Waiting for the Star Rail 2.2 new Boss Theme, the everything about it, all the stories and characters that leads up to that peak. Its truly magical. Pretty much everyone that have played the new update agreed that it even trumps over Wild Fire, Cant wait to see your analysis
These are relatively difficult if you're not used to doing this (I had to pause before the answer to sing a resolution). Appreciate the upload though, and would look forward to similar videos. Or even just more of the same. Any other related exercises? Maybe cadence identification (or more general chord degrees)?
If this is a new way of thinking for you, as it is for most people, it may seem impenetrable at first. Don't be discouraged if this is something that interests you!
I only got 4, I think I'm tone deaf. Surprisingly, the music I'm most familiar with (the one from NieR) is the one I struggled with the most. I just couldn't end it. and I also couldn't get the only other song I know in this video (The Spine) right.
The Spine was tricky for me too. There's no way you could have gotten 4 if you're tone deaf! You probably just need practice. There's no downside to trying this video again with a clear mind, if you decide this is something you'd like to explore further. And of course, there are many other ways to enjoy music if you don't.
