Thanks for answering my dilemma, I am a really bad DIY person, you should see the paint job I did to cover up the cracking plaster... and I only had to punch a hole in the wall because the guy who lived here before me had glued a screw into the wall that I couldn't get out so I had to hammer it out. But thanks for the verdict, I will NOT tell my landlord, if he asks about it I'll just tell him it was there when I moved in. :) And many many greetings from Finland, not Norway, even though we are neighbors. -Ida Linnéa
Being an Italian following Ylvis, this video for non-norwegians was the coolest thing that happened to me today! Thank you so much, guys! 😘 Can't wait to be there on March!
Greatly appreciate your dedication towards your non-Norwegian speaking fans!! Over the past month you've become my favorite talk show/comedians and after I learn my first foreign language I will take on Norwegian all because of you four! Thank you for being my inspiration!
Thank you guys for this English version for youtube. Now I can stop to activating the automatic subtitles from youtube (that really doesn't help). Best regards from Brazil \o
Thank you so much for making an English segment. Now I just have to wait for subtitles for the main show. Love you guys! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I actually subscribed to TVNorge some years ago only because of Ylvis and to get seeing what they were releasing. I really love this new Ylvis show, and all the other videos they release with english subtitles! Thanks a lot from Spain, you guys rock! :P
The thumbs down on this vid are from the landlord. Thank you guys so much for taking extra time to produce an english segment after each show. This is such a nice move ! :D Love it. You rock ! I flew in yesterday to see the premiere live in folketeatret and the whole show was fucking amazing !
I for one am looking forward to Vegard's "I have" segment and wouldn't mind if he had another where he gave us more advice on how to handle common home repair jobs. This segment is such a lovely wonderful surprise. Thank you so much this gift to foreign fans! Hope the Norwegians are enjoying it too. :)
I love you guys! ;) I don't understand Norwegian that much yet, but your are one of the biggest motivation to learn harder and harder the language. Jeg elsker dere Bård og Vegard/Ylvis/ I kveld med Ylvis! :D Your idea for this exclusive show is amazing :D I can guess why you need the feedback and I give you guys comments happily every time :D Thank you
My gratitude TV Norge, I can´t believe it! You already made me travel from Slovakia to Norway to watch the show only, but after this you have my ultimate affection. Have a nice season, boys!
+soulpainter13 Also...WHAT ELSE DOES VEGARD HAVE? The Susanne Sunfør segment was AWESOME! I hope one of you is in love every week! The pacing of this episode was the best, yet! And this English segment makes me feel less desperately sad I can't see IKMY in person right now. Tusen takk.
OMG, I love you boys!! you are so amazing, i´ve been seeing old videos with sub, your songs, your show... everything is amazing! I love you !!! xoxo from MEXICO
This is amazing! I only just came across it now after watching so much old segments of your show! Loads of love from the Netherlands! Geniaal gezellig gewoon ;)
Thank you for doing this! Now I can watch this segment each week instead of waiting for subtitles! (Which is especially awesome because I have a progressive vision problem and have a very hard time reading on the computer.) I love you guys!
This is great you should do the entire show this way. Or make an international tour. I will go and see you in every city. You are the best, thanks for doing this! For the next week: Song title: Why does the milkman come for?
Hi from the USA! I love love LOVE that you're doing this!! And I love that Magnus and Calle are a part of it too!! FYI, Feel free to pronounce "Calle" the Norwegian way, ("KAL-la") it's not hard for us. ("Cali" and "cal-lay" were invented by people who watch it with the sound off.. Lol!) Vegard, you were right the first time, it's pronounced "POR-us". So will you do different segments every time? Or will it be the same segments?
They did say his full name, but in the past, on the rare occasion they talk about Calle to English-speaking audiences, they have said "cal-lay" or "Cali", probably thinking they have to "translate" his name for us, and I'm just saying they don't have to. His name is not so foreign that we can't say it the right way. Same with Bård and Vegard being "translated" to Bard and Vi-GUARD for us... Not necessary.. "Bored" is an English word, and Vegard sound like Las Vegas. If other countries make the effort to learn our language, then at least we can make an effort to pronounce their names correctly. 😜
+Kaiser I put a 😜. Universal symbol of being only half serious. It's not life or death. But the comment section is for opinions and feedback, and that's just my two-cents. (Hearing other fans mispronounce their names makes my ass itch. That's why. Lol)
+Katy Sami Ameer Actually that's just a joke. He said in an interview in the tabloids that he calls himself Calle because he's a such a super-fan of Superman. He got the name from Clark Kent's real name, Kal-E. - Calle.. "Calle's"' real name is Odd (yeah that is a real Norwegian name)
+MAX0452 RU-vid voices is actually a real thing :) If the host talks in a "singing" way, voice goes up and down, people are more likely to watch. I heard in on a podcast.
Thanks for this TV Norge! Song suggestion for next week: "It's not arrogant to speak unaccented English (when we know you can)" - done symphonic metal style.
Emm... actually, the song "In the Midnight Hour" had already existed before this show xD It's by Wilson Pickett. I just didn't get why did Magnus choose exactly this title:) But it was fun anyway) Thank you so much for doing this, guys!!! Love you so much!
+BoZena yeah, I know that it was one of the fans who asked to make this song, and actually there were a lot of other people, who maybe misunderstood smth and posted some titles of the songs which already existed... I just mean that it is a strange coincidence that Magnus picked up one of these "wrong" suggestions...))
Hallo!! I am a fan living in Denmark for 2 years. Since I have been watching your show, my Norwegian is better than my Danish :) Thumbs up for the English segment, folks!
