Does the design of the steering rack have the same effect as it relates to the shims? I refer to a steering rack where the links are connected to the front compared to one that's connected under like the Mugen's own.

Thanks for the quick reply :) I have just learn from another RU-vid video that more ackermann reduce the outside tire drag giving the car more yaw moment. Maybe this is why the car rotates better in the very initial steering :)
right now most drivers use 16,5 to 17,5 degree of steering angle, measured on teh OUTSIDE WHEEL (not inside wheel). This I can tell you from the side of Mugen Seiki drivers!
