he he thanks! I appreciate it! I actually only realized that everyone was advertising the pop-filter the wrong way after I made the review, so that's why the info is at the end of the video ^_^
Glad I could help ;) I didn't realise that they advertise the placement of the filter in the wrong place in their manual, until after I made this video ^_^
Thanks for the tip a friend bought bought this at a product returns store for 5 bucks and gave it to me yesterday I will have to get it out and play with it
$5 is a bargain! where do you find a "product returns store" I use amazon warehouse deals sometimes, and know you can buy in bulk at auction... but never heard of a store like that.
@@scottjarrell6089 so let me guess... everything in there costs five bucks? I'm sure the owner regretted THAT decision every time there came something relatively expensive in...
Do you have your speakers close to you? turn them off, sounds like you are getting a feedback loop could be anything else as i'm going off just one word here: "hearing a screech" is limited description of the problem.
@@Sesshomaruwifu Nothing wrong with a USB microphone ;) But of course, you can get better sound from an XLR mic, keep in mind that you will need a pre-amp or a Mixer to power the XLR microphone and that set up would set you back about $100 for the mic and another $100 for the mixer before you start hearing a difference. so a USB MIC is a great budget way to get good quality sound without breaking the bank )) did you manage to fix the problem or is the delay and feedback still there?
because it''s meant for wind, and outdoor conditions, but even the pop filter provides really minor protection which is really only needed in a studio environment for a microphone 10x more sensitive than this one and costs 100x more... and because you have to be very close to the mic to create wind producing sounds like Pppp and FFF KKK which actually affect the sound. put a hand in front of your mouth and say the letter "P" (sound: "puh") a few times, then try other letters do you feel breath on your hand? the mic picks up that air displacement, but if you move your hand further away, you don't feel the air pressure on your hand, so there would be no need for a wind shield. in studios, they use those filters because they want the best sound, and that comes from being close to the mic, the average person doesn't need it.
@@nenadGHN honestly, for twitch, do whatever looks better, this is not a pro-grade audio mic for recording vocals, and the worst that you'll get by not using a wind blocker is a distorted "P" sound every now and then... not the end of the world ;)
