I'm surprised you didn't get yourself a piece of polonium, radium, or plutonium to show it is radioactive, too. I'm using this exact microphone at home and in the field, with two samsung smartphones, directly and with wireless Rode transmitter, directly with computer, I used it even with Focusrite interface, and I used it with non-original cables when I forgot to pack them. It also does great job as a mic for creating space when I record music in my poor home studio where one of top audio-technica mic models is the leading acoustic mic. I heard better mics, indeed, but never ever i heard a slightest hiss, distortion, or anything like that from this Røde. It worked relatively worst with a camera, but it was just thinner and weaker sound, no hiss. Maybe change your mic dealer?
It’s cool that the mic works for you! But This video clearly shows that it doesn’t work for everyone, that’s why I referenced other BIG creators on YT with the same problem… dealers have nothing to do with manufacturing. It’s a shitty Mic, glad it works for you, or maybe you just pay no attention to the hiss or don’t use headphones or pro equipment to hear how bad it really is. Everything sounds great on shitty speakers ;)
oh yeah! you are right! thanks for that ;) Wiki: "LG originally stood for "Lucky Goldstar", but is now promoted as meaning "Life's Good" in the company's marketing campaigns."
Can I use this in BRW rental and booking plugin since my products are for renting so I need my visitor to be able to upload their pictures before booking option???
Thank you for this! It's pretty alarming how good the fakes are getting these days. They're even better than when you made this 7 years ago. They've got the lettering nearly exact, except it's still painted on--not engraved into the resin stems. I almost got duped by current offerings available. It used to be that auction sites in Japan were really good at weeding out fakes, but apparently they've got them as well. All of the telltale signs you've shown here? Those listings have the same ones. You really have to be careful!
Thank you for confirming this. I have this microphone, first microphone I've ever used to try and improve my top down craft videos...and I've been having a big problem with mystery background static and buzzing. I couldn't work out what the problem was, and finally discovered it happens whenever it's near my desk lamp or radio (even with the volume at 0). It's been a nightmare, getting rid of it, and now searching for something better.
I was in the same situation, worse I was hired to do a job, and the audio was messed up, i ordered new cables, pre-amps, changed camera bodies, I mean surely it was not the new microphone from a reputable company... right? Well, after I figured it out, I just had to make this video ;) Good Luck with your new mic, I heard Deity v-mic D4 was a good alternative, but havent personally tired it out, so all the best with your research :)
@@honestview Oh goodness, what a headache you had! After a ton of research Ive just ordered the DJI mic 2 with a lav. I think that will suit my needs just fine. I won't be buying any other rode products that's for sure!
Actually that's cheap stationary mic, about 4/5times cheaper than the Rode VideoMic ;) so the comparison is between a cheap stationary mic VS an Expensive Mobile mic. p.s. I've tested this mic against $10 and $20 knockoffs, and those don't have any of the issues, but the sound quality in general was worse.
After some testing, its not the wire, the wifi, my phone, my cats or my camera but the mic only has the buzzing sound when I have my outlet extender turn on, the buzzing when you touch the housing is still there but I always wrap the mic's 3.5 cable around the housing and use the type c port to connect to my laptop so it kinda grounded itself lol idk. Otherwise the sound quality is just amazing, at least it cheaper to replace a cheap outlet extender than a $100 mic lol. Edit: Its not the outlet extender but any outlets lmao, whenever I plug my laptop charger in the buzzing comes up again.
I placed an order, and within minutes, began checking the internet for reviews. Found your video. THANK YOU! I canceled my order (no services rendered) and long story short, they sent an email days later saying they could not honor a refund. Good thing I used my credit card, and the company protects me from "businesses" like this. I told them I'd leave a bad review to warn others. Now, I'm receiving multiple bogus invoices from various "gmail" accounts ... so, I've locked my credit card for now.
Please apply basic Logic: if microphone 1 does not pick up interference while microphone 2 in the exact same conditions does pick up interference… please argue how it could be the fault of the use and not the microphone. P.s. microphones without speakers don’t cause feedback loops… so having multiple microphones together is no problem.
I encountered another problem with this microphone (VideoMic Go II). I always use it on camera for filming pets outdoor. It works really well on the Nikon Z6 II, even in auto mode. I recently switched to a Canon R6 II and this same microphone is a disaster in auto mode. Even in manual sound recording mode, I can't get it to have the same sound quality as the Z6 II. Not even close. On R6m2 this mic picks up too much white noise and acts almost like an omnidirectional (picking up sounds all around me equally). I'm thinking of switching to the Rode NTG now as I don't want to stick with the Nikon system just because of the external mic issues on Canon. I'm tired of struggling with auto focus on the Z6 II. 😀
Thank you for the video! My mic GO 1 was catching my phone's EM fields and I had a hope that 2nd version doesn't have this issue. Now it's too late: I ordered it yesterday 😆 Seems I have to use your tips about the grounding, thanks!
TopResume and ZipJob have the same parent company, Talent Inc., which was recently acquired by BV Investment Partners. Talent Inc. offers career-related services through the TopResume, TopCV, TopInterview, ResumeRabbit, and ZipJob brands. Most of them are just doing copy paste the CV templates. I had worst experince with TopCV, total scam. Outsource your CV to overseas students that just rephrase few words from your linkedin and old CV. My cv ats summary recommended me three different irrlevent job industries.
Considering we have AI now, you can just copy paste your CV into ChatGPT and tell it to re-write the Resume in the best way possible to be hired while passing ATS tester scans ... And it's free
I was just about to purchase this resume' writing service and decided to look up reviews before I made the purchase. I found out about this service from a job fair advertisement and even though I clicked on NO that I didn't want my resume' evaluated someone contacted me anyway and said the evaluation you had asked for is finished, click here to view. I'm sure that my Resume' does need some updating since it's been many years since I had it written. I may see what AI can do instead. Thanks for posting and exposing this service for what it really is, just saved me $300 bucks that I can't afford to lose.
Please help me out with Airbin if some has reserved 1 seats in 15 bed then why others has not able to book in 14 seats . Calender is showing that their is No Availiblity whereas i have 14bunkbeds vaccant
We can all agree pay for glasses 300 while you can by identical copy for 6$ yeah I bought it for $6 at 1st I was skeptical, but when I got glasses I was amazed by quality , I mean 6$ and I watched videos about fake vs original and I can tell more thing.. they compare orange with orange.. I don't why even think to pay 300 for glasses that cost to make 0.50 or even less.. I paid 6$ in the price included shipping from china! also they are resellers.. so imagine they sold it for 6$ minus shipping so what they got 4$ + taxes.. so for them left 3$ they paid fee as seller on website.. so they left with 2$ they bought from somewhere in China I think they paid 0.5 per glasses.. so imagine how much Moscot earn.. it is basically nonsense to even think to pay 300.. I would not even consider to pay 50 for originals I have $6 moscot glasses that looks like 99% identical.. no one could tell it is fake also I don't care if lose them.
I just bought 27” at thrift store for $8 😂 It was $50 60% plus I had a coupon $15 off brand new in box 4K IPS HDR with sound Wow 🎉🎉can believe it was still there at 4 pm
My shutter assembly (with button) came off just like in your video, but I can't locate it as I'm not sure when or where it happened. Is it possible to purchase another button with the assembly somewhere? It happened on an x-a5. Thanks.
