Wish Geno would have listened to Gary Hart and Paul Bosch when they told him he should go to the Carolinas and join Tully. They tried to get him away from those demons.
@@30907bng I believe He was...I remember hearing some story about Him being straight up to the point of getting into the wrestling business...His looks, and personality, naturally attracted people to Him, and something about Him continuously receiving "offers" from males (and I'm sure, the alcohol, pills, and drugs in general, had Him pretty laid back at times, uninhibited) and He just let it happen, supposedly enjoyed it, and was DL bi ever since....I can't remember the documentary, I believe in the same documentary, The girl He was seeing, or an ex girlfriend said the coroner's report stated that it was the body of a male, uncircumcised, and she said "Then it's not Gino, because Gino WAS circumcised" (was Gino in so deep in the drug thing, that He had to disappear?)... wouldn't it be great, if Gino was actually alive all these years?
I was 13...and I'd get pissed if I had to miss watching wrestling for ANY reason, lol...thank the Lord for beta-machines, or I'd of gone insane...I still remember the day my step-dad brought our first one home, He handed me a bundle of 3 tapes and said "Now you can record your wrestling" He showed me how to set the timer to record, how it all worked, and when Mom was out of the room, said to me "No more pissy-ass sulking, right?"...I just grinned and told Him THANK YOU!...and they never seen me pissy-ass sulking around again...great, great time, era... especially for pro wrestling territories
