In 2007, Tony Bennett performed a concert at the LSO St. Lukes in London, and it was recorded for "BBC One Sessions"! The concert was broadcast in London, and it's a great concert from the later period of his career. Enjoy! :)
Tony oh tony you are the best! My late father's favorite and to me..and to many....you are one of a kind genre...sad you have Alzheimer's buti still wish to see once more croon your songs..yes the best is yet to come to you tony..fedoite the final curtain...but your state is relived once you are into.music..never have you forgotten your songs...long live tony...the good life you have..but in the last line of that song you said goodbye to the good life...you will always be in our hearts and mind tony bennet ❤️❤️❤️your songs are our songs..this is real music...thank you tony..thank you...
How about that last song when Tony puts the microphone down and belts out, "Fly Me to The Moon!" Not many singers can pull that off in front of a live audience! He's 80 here!
It can only be tony that can ma age that no one to replace him i only got to hear about tony In my late 60s im now 74 next month 75yrs thru the grace of God l like to sit alone n chill to his singing
He really sings, "How Do You Keep The Music Playing," so very well! it starts at 48:23 in this video. Such a touching and beautiful song - not many can sing it with so much heart and soul. Thank you, Tony!
Not just that, every performance he throws here is just... I mean that fly me to moon would make Frank blush and that's about as much a compliment to Tony as it is to Frank. Somewhere in heaven they're singing medleys... and it never end. God bless Tony, 86 years he had so much love to give. His home sessions during quarantine, smile and fly me to moon made me think wow, 93 years old and still got it. Still got love in so much abundance to share and still go on. What a man, what a soul. His 'smile' got me throw many a bad days. When good friends were going through hard times and I have nothing to give but to sat down with them, I'd put Tony's Smile on... Tony's Smile, I never thought of it that way. I put it on and felt not as helpless and powerless. Thank you for pointing out that specific part. How do you keep the music playing is a very near and dear to my heart and this one is as close to my all time favorite of that specific tune which is Frank's how do you keep the music playing and my funny valentine, what a fitting medley.
How do you keep the music playing?? Simple this has been your life's passion and your fans have been able to enjoy your music. Thank you Tony Bennett.💖💖💖
I watched it on TV at the time and recorded it on old videotape. Goodness, was it really 12 years ago? I am so pleased to find this here now as I am getting rid of my old vhs tapes.
@@jorebri I have done this for our family home videos only. Quite a lengthy process I agree. Music etc is not really worth copying I don't think, especially if I can find it on RU-vid again.

YT "Recommended" this channel as: "Funk & Soul Classics." (Hmmm...???) Clearly, 'I' define "Funk & Soul" differently than YT. You do offer classic tunes by legendary artists. But much to my disappointment, very little (hardly ANY) of the content here has EVER been considered "Funk & Soul."😔
@@veleo13 I have seen Tony live in concert over a dozen times going back 30 years. Tony's performances have gone down hill ever since Ralph stopped touring. Cool it with the name-calling. Makes you sound childish.
