Former British prime minister Tony Blair discusses his political memoir, "A Journey: My Political Life," in conversation with journalist Tina Brown. "A Journey" is Tony Blair's firsthand account of his years in office and beyond. Here he describes his role in shaping recent history, from the aftermath of Princess Diana's death to the war on terror. He discusses the decisions that were necessary to reinvent Labour Party, negotiations for peace in Northern Ireland, the implementation of the biggest reforms to public services in Britain since 1945, and his relationships with leaders on the world stage -- Nelson Mandela, Bill Clinton, Vladimir Putin, George W. Bush. He analyzes the belief in ethical intervention that led to his decisions to go to war in Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Presented by Harvard Book Store.

It does get old, I'm open minded... id like to emphasise with they're points, the trouble is most of it, if not all... are lies from newspapers. All I see from the haters is just nastiness. They provide no valid argument for the name calling they often throw around. At the end of the day it's a question of education. Tony Blair did the Labour Party and made it modern. The Tories hate it when labour (new labour especially because they are actually electable) allow everyone to achieve despite where your born or how much money you've not had to begin with. I've met him and honestly we will never have such a decent honest hard working caring prime minister again, I know I'm going to have shade on me for saying all of this but I'm so proud to have been a part of the new labour machine. I desperately hope that the Labour Party come back to the third way, it's the only way.

When dealing with human rights in different sectors of the society, it is important to evaluate the different cultures of the people around the world and there are people who have been informed and uncertain there are people who are convinced that some people pay money Waiting for a variety of thoughts and submissions that want the most sensible idea that people can be told to spend money on submission and work day and night to work on crime or misinformation. People who refuse to do anything that is harmful to someone or people who do not listen to some stories there are people who believe that people live in a rush of political confusion and that they all want to believe everything that is in common in the community but always open a national prayer by abdiweli ali coal s

What is interesting is that many people criticize and try to use defamation of character to convince people that another person is wrong in the decisions that they made. During the course of history many government officials have been criticized but what is wrong with this criticism is that the decisions that they made are not only what they thought were right but what they decided based upon information known to them. The problem with making a bold statement that you did must be backed with

Great insights of a great politician in very trying times. In one crucial point in his career it seems, though, that Tony fails to meet his own rational logic as a driver of politics: if as he says the world changed after Sept 11, and that justified his attack on Iraq, did he ever have any REAL basis or good enough evidence to link Iraq or Hussein to Sept 11? I wonder, what made him betray his own logic of operating based upon evidence. Not only here Blair´s greatness becomes no larger that ISIS´, but also begs the question of accountability. Will he ever be held accountable for that decision based upon utter misjudgement?

Wakati wa kushughulika na haki za binadamu katika sekta mbalimbali za jamii, ni muhimu kutathmini tamaduni tofauti za watu duniani kote na kuna watu ambao wamejulishwa na wasio hakika kuna watu wanaoamini kuwa watu fulani wanalipa pesa Kusubiri mawazo mbalimbali na maoni ambayo yanataka wazo la busara zaidi kwamba watu wanaweza kuambiwa kutumia pesa juu ya kuwasilisha na kufanya kazi mchana na usiku kufanya kazi kwa uhalifu au habari zisizofaa. information and or details as to what the person did wrong rather than just speaking out of turn. The Iraq II war was a war that was decided upon due to physical evidence that was supposedly in Iraq. The interesting point is that weapons were used on Kuwait before the Iraq I War. Weapons of Mass Destruction include not only nuclear but also biological. There are many books defending the commitment to starting the war. Also, the United States in Operation Valiant Guard were going to start a war

Dream on! Why would anyone need to use anything bigger than a couple of tanks to capture Kuwait? The Iraqi Army walked through Kuwait, even if they had weapons of mass destruction why would they use them, the Kuwaiti elite were too busy getting on planes out or driving down to Saudi Arabia to put up any resistance to the Iraqis.

Imagine taking a country into a war, knowing that tens of thousands of innocent people are going to die for a lie. Then extrapolate that back to relatively minor matters, so that you come to a point that everything you say and do is a lie, all for your own enrichment, and egoism. There is the measure of a man.

but to blame Blair and Bush alone for the ongoing violence there is grossly unfair and negates to place any blame on the Islamist thugs responsible for most of the problems. To compare Tony Blair to vice is idiotic because of the fact that vice is something that is not only a venial sin but describes something that is not an adjective but rather a noun. Also, how can one compare a person to pure immoral behavior when the person tries to act in a way that he deems moral in their own sense. To speak of hanging someone is also an absurdity because not only is hanging someone not done anymore but one has to explain the crimes and misdemeanors that the person committed in order for them to be killed i.e. as an example. When you try to write and post an attack against someone who was elected by majority, one has to wonder what the PM did wrong and also why would you attack him or even go and say he should be hung?

Blair was a great prime minister when it came to running the country and taking care of the economy. Aside from his pointless war in Iraq, the main problem was that he allowed immigration to spiral out of control, making Britain a migration state.
