In today's episode, I get back to my roots by making a video about an obscure subject that nobody asked for. With Tony G going into the NFL Hall of Fame, what better way to kick of Chiefs month than to make a highlight video of him playing basketball for Cal? After all, announcers only mentioned after every catch during each Chiefs/Falcons game. Tony Gonzalez was actually a pretty good player, something I didn't expect. No, he wasn't an all-world talent on the hardwood, or even a great starter. But he was a solid role player off the bench in a major conference, which is darn impressive considering basketball was his second sport. I took these highlights from an older channel that happened to have highlight videos from the 90s. The clips you see came from the 5 games I could find Gonzalez highlights in. As always, let me know who you'd like to see next! - PockyCandy -
@@sneekypete8296 what about Derrick Thomas? Since this is Chiefs month, I've started working on an Alabama DT highlight video. He was a dominant defensive player too.
Tony avging 6 and 4 and the college level WHILE being the best right end in the country is CRAZY. I imagine in those years he was in CRAZY shape. Like CRAZY.
PockyCandy! You really went left field and hit us with some Tony G! The most popular video that I didn't know that I wanted to see and then I saw it, great job PockyCandy!
@@lagosfury5142 It's pretty much consensus that Tony G is king. Look at most any list. Even loud-mouth Shannon doesn't proclaim to be the best. Neither does Gronk.
First play is a crazy travel 😂 he loses control of it then mid dribble touches it with both hands (double Dribble) then after he controls ball finally he takes another dribble 😂🤦🏼♂️
