My fond memories are from the Vision On programme. There was a spot on the programme each week where viewers would send in their drawings. He really inspired me and I used to draw and send in a picture every few weeks. Mine were never aired or selected. I was never any good anyway but I used to love drawing with the fact I was planning to send to Vision On. As a mature person I can imagine the numbers they probably received each week and a team would make the selections I'm sure. Morph was ground breaking and the rest as they say is history, loved it & thanks for sharing his earlier life details, it's one aspect that you so kindly provide and it's interesting. Thank you.

Jesus!! He was a Gurkha. I'm having a really hard time wrapping my head around that one. I'm 57 now and god I loved getting in from school and watching Vision On. I hold Tony Hart in very high regard. Ever since I was a kid I was always drawing and painting. I loved it and his inspiration went far in my life. In hindsight he's probably responsible for me. Becoming a Tradesman as a painter. A Craftsman, as I used to be a traditional Signwriter. I tattooed for 25 years. I'm old now at 57 and these days I work as a care worker, but still love painting.... only now with an airbrush. This suddenly made me realise that Tony Hart is more than likely responsible for most of my adult life, and I never knew it. Lol I feel a bit weird now. He was a great guy. A joy to watch as a child, especially with a Morph. They just don't make em like they used to anymore. Thank you for this upload. You have a new subscriber
