Tony Rice backstage at The Cat's Cradle (My Favorite Things) 

This is a video I took, with what was at the time, the newest phone, a razor phone. I was fortunate to open many shows for Tony Rice, because he produced an album for me (Gaining Wisdom-on Rounder.) In this video, Tony is warming up before a gig we played at The Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC. He is playing the song "My Favorite Things." The gal laughing is Bryn Davies. Also in the video is his brother Wyatt Rice. We would cut up & horse around backstage, as Tony was always serious & professional! This opportunity I had in my lifetime, was truly one of my favorite things!
