'Scarface' is one of the first movies where the weapons were synchronized with the cameras. This is why the muzzle flashes on Tony's weapon are so big and so consistent. This techniques has been used in films ever since.

Rambo and Scarface set the bar so high for the action and crime genres. And Scarface is probably the only reason we have GTA as a result of that domino effect. The Scarface game was great for people who hated the ending, and it deserves a remake, but as an adult, this is a better ending to me. His own terms. He wasn't going to die a monster. If he went through with that job, the remorse would eat him alive for years. He is no hero, but the tale is a tragic one. Everyone dies, even Sosa by what they imply because authorities know he was responsible for the assassination attempt.

This classic is so Gold & irreplaceable! Sentimental yet never gets old! Tony Montoya, though another bad guy, was actually quite courageously heroic in his last stand if it wasn't for his careless mockery at the end, he would've had a better chance of survival fighting his way out with more precise usage of his ammo & weaponry. This film was so realistically made, blood & violence, actual gun fights without much CGI but mortal stunts! Like the way blood was spilled & guns blazing with impressively extraordinary sound effects back then in the 80s, plus extra points for the reloads & shootings Al handled his weapon well like very styled! Wow, just wow!! Tony Montoya's definitely one of the best Antiheroes in cinematic universe, Al Pacino nailed it real good!
