Tony Stewart crashes Juan Montoya and revenge later - NASCAR Sprint Cup Series 2009 (Spanish)

In a normal race situation Montoya touches the rear part of Stewart's car. One lap later Stewart makes Montoya crash into the wall. Montoya goes to the garage, his car is repaired and his team sends him back to the track. NASCAR didn't do anything to penalize Stewart and Montoya decides to take revenge on his own and makes Stewart spin. Montoya was penalized with two laps stopped at pit lane.
Not the most fair decision from NASCAR.

@TheJuanf7601 just because you going in circles its still really hard because in f1 you get spread out and it gets boring.. i record the f1 races and i only watch the start and the end to see who wins.. the starts are the only exciting parts... in nascar there is yellows so you get back together and it makes it more exciting

@coughsnif ask any driver who has driven both cars and they will say the stock car is harder to control. f1 cars go so fast because they are glued to the track by downforce, and dont crash because of computers. Sure a hell of a lot of precision and endurance is required, but the difference is, an f1 car is designed to go fast, and a million dollars is worth more than the difference between a vettel and a schumacher. Stock cars need to be coaxed into doing what they are doing, manhandled.

@vettedude418 Computers do not keep the F1 cars on track. There is no ABS, Traction control, Skid control or anything like that on an F1 car.

@manuel21863 Yeah, G-Forces are a part of racing. You go to Bristol and you're going even 90 miles per hour, your feet will be nearly im-movable. I've been to a short track hitting speeds that fast, it's fucking hard. I can't imagine peddling while doing this.

Having watched the race, with around 100 laps left Montoya should have lifted before he got into the back of Stewart. Tony subsequently wrecked Montoya and then it was all on. Montoya is a phenomenal driver and capable of contending for a title some day. In this sport you can't race for position on every lap, you just need to let guys go and/or lift before getting into the back of them. If you race hard on every lap and don't give up positions to faster cars this is what ultimately happens.

@mbhmob I just don't think you understand how the cars work in this sport. When 2 cars are running at that speed next to each other air gets trapped between them and they push left or right. Haven't you ever seen them wobble on side by side racing. Stewart just got caught up and got into Montoya. Montoya cried and wrecked him. Sad really if we could get these less talented drivers like Montoya off the track we could see some good racing

Whoa! My bad! I meant to say he's the only driver that has won the premier North American open-wheel CART title, the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Daytona on his first try. I don't know why I wrote that Le Mans thing. Sorry.

@mbhmob no the only intentional incident is Montoya spinning him because montoya is a washed up has been who can't handle real racing. Tony's contact was simple areo lift. I don't think you or guys like Montoya understand what happens when cars get that close together like this. It's just sad that washed up drivers like Montoya have to wreck true talented drivers who are actually racing for the lead and not 28th place.
@paulconnelly4050

You forgot one crucial point. It was Stewart who drove into Montoya first. So I guess that makes them both washed up, right?

@RedElite217 you mean ultimate champion indi and F1 winner.. you realize that out side of the usa nascar is considered busses that do circles for no talent .. since in f1 the g forces of every turn is admired... well i guess someone who probably hasent lefft his block and has a misserable life woulndt know this ...
@Kartracer6
@Kartracer6 13 лет назад
@mbhmob yes these cars are sensitive on straightaways. I've seen tons of crashes on straightaways because of aerolift. And please Montoya was the guy that showed up and everytime he got bumped he'd spin someone because he couldn't handle it. So who cares if he beat everyone at a road course (the thing he has more experience on) It's a shame only 2 road courses a year leaves him struggling to succeed.

Uncalled for.Ruined Montoyas day.Was Stewarts own fault that he got ran over in the first place.Stewart gets revenge and thats O.K. with nascar?When Montoya retaliates he gets penalized,and later Stewart gets the free pass?That's not racing it's "Racist"!!!
@Kartracer6
@Kartracer6 13 лет назад
@coughsnif Hmm...funny if Montoya is so talented that he can drive faster cars then tony then Nascar should be a piece of cake. Hmm. Funny while tony is finishing top 5 and top 10's Montoya is fighting for 35th place or watching the finish from his trailer. Sorry but F1 cars run faster but they also have more technology that helps the car drive. Nascar is based off strength and endurance. Where the Engine doesn't win you races...driver talent does. Where is Montoya's Cup at? Tony has 2
@paulconnelly4050
@paulconnelly4050 4 года назад
Tony was being an asshole and got his comeuppance. But I suppose being a flag bearing ‘murican, that’s too hard for you to say. Just on your point, turn the scenario around. If it makes you a better driver by being in NASCAR because “downforce glues the car down on the track”, why doesn’t or hasn’t Tony Stewart race/d in F1? Where’s his race wins in Formula One. The whole world watches F1. I bet millions of people in America don’t even know who races in NASCAR.
@pipeceballos7585
@pipeceballos7585 10 лет назад
Tony and Montoya in a circuit that has right corners in a random car obviously Montoya will win because NASCAR is just about left corners yo don't need to much experience to do this kind of race.
@AxellRosas36
@AxellRosas36 7 лет назад
Well then how come he didn't win in a single oval throughout his NASCAR career if they're that easy? It takes talent buddy, might look simple but it does require a lot of experience and it's hard
