As a die-hard Tony Stewart loyalist those last few years were very tough. But, as a fan, this victory meant more to me than a Tony Stewart 500 win. I was sad when he announced his retirement, but to see him go out with one last win was really special for me.

While I am not a Stewart fan, I was happy to see him win this race. His execution over the final 20 laps was amazing. This is a good win for the sport, and hopefully he'll get into the Chase and make some noise. The sport is more interesting when he is running well.

All I wish is that I had been a big NASCAR fan when this happened. My favorite driver is Jimmie Johnson and we didn’t get to experience a final year win. But my second fav is Tony Stewart. I never got to see him race but this is so cool!

Hamlin won't ever admit it. It would very disgraceful to do so. So as I'll say it: He gave Tony the inside line clear as day...Probably felt bad roughing up his former mentor the turn before...the sad part is Stewart definitly wouldn't do the same. I saw Stewart rough up Bobby Lebonte (his mentor) in homestead 2000 and take the win without remorse. Everyone lives by a different code.

Study on this for a while..... Danica Patrick wins the pole in her first 500, Austin Dillon wins the pole in the 500 that the #3 returns to the cup series, Jeff Gordon wins the pole in his final 500, and Chase Elliott wins the pole in his first 500...... Nascar can't rig everything, but they rig as much as possible, and Sunday's outcome was rigged.... Period

+Brian Sutphin You aren't using your brain. THINK. Hamlin could not control a WHEEL HOPPING CAR so precisely to the point where he bumped Stewart out of the way, yet didn't wreck him. You can't control things like that. The fact that Hamlin knocked Stewart out of the lead is more than enough evidence to suggest that it wasn't rigged. Key word EVIDENCE, something that you and all the other conspiracy theorists out there always lack. The mere fact that a cool story happens is not evidence that anything fishy is going on.
