It’s hip hop, old heads just stay stuck on the past 😭 and while my music taste hip hop wise is 90% 90s-2000s rap, there are still some good artists nowadays and while it’s a shadow of its former self, it’s still hip hop
@@Rebirth2029How is it hip hop if it’s not creative? Everybody has the same cadence, delivery and flow. How is it hip hop if there’s no storytelling? What you call hip hop is trash music. Nothing good at all.
@@bennyblanco5857 give some things a shot, because I used to say that same thing before I actually gave it a chance. And like I said, I’m not some mumble or drill superfan as I actually don’t like those genres much for the reason you listed, a lot of them have the same flow. When you think about it though, in the 90s it was the same thing. It’s why so many 90s rappers are irrelevant now and couldn’t transition into the 2000s. You had to be creative and special with your lyrics and flow to make it, like nas, em or HOV. As for what you said on storytelling, lots of great songs exist like “sing about me in dying of thirst” by Kendrick Lamar and a LOT more in the underground rap scene, but that’s a whole different story
50 Cent , Dre, Eminem & you add G-Unit.. was a lockdown on the rap industry.. The rotation was nothing but number 1 hits of this dream team.. all others could do nothing but wait til the storm was over.. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah…that time is coming soon, because those European rappers are already adopting drill…it’s just a matter of time before hip hop is truly dead. Murder Music on the takeover
