Lol ... good reaction, only you miss the deep meaning of this masterpiece. Is just her fighting herself inside her mind. All those people are just her, her unhealthy thougts that push her to be on top but she loose herself in the way. So the top became a cliff and the same force to got her to that top will through her to the abbys. She is forced by herself to serve a false image of perfection with zero authenticity. Think in all thosw people on entertaiment that end in tragedy. But, a part of her decide to change, to fight her own fears, her need of fame, her sick self critycism in order to be free and authentic, a real human been and not a puppet in hands of others (fans) or some need of attention or whatever. She left the heals and put on her dirty sneakers, her real self and she take the gun and said I am leaving, but as soon she take her on her own, her fears or the false love she get betray her and stab her in the back. That is the moment when the battle begins, she fight with all her heart against herself. This is genious with several layers of deep meaning, a quest to be free an authentic in the middle of stardom ... and the song is so great. And the kid is her soul, the gun in her hand show that is trying to be herself since a young age but she couldn't. But her adult self is fighting for that child now and at last she succed and take the gun from her hands so she is free now ... this is a masterpiece.
