It's nice to have a truly porcelain shade that doesn't have a pink undertone, though. I'll think that it matches me until I go outside, check the car visor mirror and see that my face is pink and totally does not match my neck or chest. THE WORST

The first time I swatched "porcelain" I could not believe how dark it was! Glad they have a larger shade range for us pale girls as well as our darker skinned beauties! :) Definitely a step in the right direction!

Hannah Duchaine My tip to you about foundations that aren't yellow enough is to by a yellow liquid concealer, like the LA Girl ones and to add a touch of it to your foundation. It always works for me.

Bought the snow foundation and I love it! So happy they came out with more shades. First time in a LONG time i found something that is 1. actually is light enough, and 2. perfect for my SUPER dry skin! Thumbs up for pale princesses. xx

I love this foundation!! I have very oily skin and I got tired of my face being so matte all the time because all I wore were matte foundations to help with my oil. I wanted something more natural looking. As long as I use a mat tidying primer and set this foundation with powder, it works great for me!! I only need 1 pump for my whole face (on a good skin day) and it's so light I can't even feel it. It has such a pretty and natural finish. Love it!

i just started trying out the "Lancome Teint Idole Foundation" and i would highly recommend it to anyone who has oily skin, redness, circles around the eyes, ect. i have alot of redness around my nose and my t-zone gets SUPER oily within a few hours, but this foundation doesnt slide around or move from the oil. also throughout the day my face didnt get shiny, didnt need to touch-up, didnt even need to use a concealer with it! amazing foundation.

***** yea, true. its a good thing though that foundation can go a pretty long way. i wouldnt use such an expensive foundation on an every-day basis, probably just for special occasions.

I really wanted to try that foundation nut it has no shade for me. The yellow tone is too dark for me and the lightest shade has a pink undertone which is not for me.

You need to try the Bobbi Brown long lasting foundation in the shade Alabaster! It's a great pale shade but I'm totally on the fence about buying it. I would really love to hear your opinion on it 😆

It is the best foundation I have ever used. I had been using Vanilla and highlighting the crap out of my face so it didn't look so dark. Needless to say, when the new shades came out, I jumped on that train super fast.

Didn't realize that the pale princess foundation guru did a review of my favourite foundation! This is the only one I've purchased in more than 2 shades. I'm pale princess Ivory in the winter but I work outside and get as deep as Warm Nude in the summer and Nude in the in-between. I'm neutral to yellow undertone and this stuff rocks for my skin. I'm oily but this stays on with all the powder I have to use and never separates or cakes up. Tarte rainforest of the sea starts to separate on me sometimes so I'll mix the two and they're my fave combo. I'm pale but a shade or two darker than Taylor with freckles. I LOVED the feel of this foundation (in "Porcelain") but had some of the same issues Taylor noticed... that it was too dark (I'm between Snow and Porcelain), too yellow, and got a little greasy towards the end of the day on my combo skin. So it sat on my shelf for awhile. I recently got the urge to mix it with L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte in shade 101 and BAM, all my issues are resolved! Cuts down on the yellow, matches my neck and gives me longer lasting wear. I still set my foundation with a powder though... it feels like my makeup routine is not finished if I don't set my makeup! :)

I got the shade Vanilla when this foundation first came out and I agree it's really yellow. I feel like all of the shades are warmer toned. I used a cool toned powder to neutralize it out and it works for me. It's not as yellow as the Benefit Hello Flawless!

What's up with Snow? In this review it's seemingly pale princess friendly, but when I received it, it was dark and super orange. On the Two Faced website it looks pale, but on Sephora it looks exactly like the shade I received, dark and orange. I wonder what's up with that? Super sad, because other than that it's a great product.

Hey, gorgeous pale princess! I have been wondering the same thing !! Semi-permanent tattoos can be done by using Softap brand cosmetic tattoo products and tools for body art. I'm a cosmetic chemist, and I worked doing Softap as well as Dr. Linda Dixon's cosmetic tattoo products while I was in school, working towards a Ph.D in molecular biology. I think both brands are great. Dr. Dixon is very smart. I started working in that industry about 14 years ago, tested lots of pigments out on my ankles and feet to see how long they could last, and all of that "body art" was 100% gone after about 4-5 years. I do believe that blue, black and gray last a bit longer than the warmer colors like red, yellow, orange, pink, etc. Why isn't anyone doing this? I hear you! LOL. BTW, been watching your foundation reviews for a long time...so, so helpful and well done !!! I just realized I had not even been subscribed this whole time. Congrats on recent subscriber numbers

I loved that I was able to find the perfect shade for my skin tone. I am the shade Ivory for the Too Faced Born This Way. However, it did not last for me. About 6 hours later I noticed my oiliness was seeping through and my makeup was separating and I did not like how the finish looked after 6 hours of wear. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect long last full coverage foundation for me. Your makeup on the other hand looks amazing.

Apparently if you get a tattoo in white, it fades after a few years. Also I think white ones look really beautiful and classy! Gorgeous lipstick by the way :)

Oh my gosh thank you so much for reviewing all of these foundations. I have normal to oily skin and it is SO hard to find a foundation that stays on my skin on days where I am more oily, and does the same when my skin is more on the dry side. I always have to touch up during the day. Although I do go to school for 8 hours which makes it even harder to find a foundation that does stay on for 8+ hours flawlessly. I think I'm going to try rainforest of the sea foundation by tarte. 😊

I am certain that Ivory is actually lighter than Porcelain, and it definitely looks like it in swatches. I am waiting for the new shades though, I can just get away with Ivory but barely (and only because it is summer in Australia). The new shades come out in January for Australia. This range is great for me as I am crazy yellow undertoned.

Ok, I've been holding out on buying this one! I love how it made your skin look, and the yellowish tone... I'm a little pale neutral but love to go slightly darker and yellow to give me some color... just blend down the neck! LOL, but I'm still pale compared to some people! Boo for the yellow undertone. You're more neutral than me, so I can only imagine how yellow it would look on me. Umm, snow? They're going to have to get creative with names if they If they come out with more light shades. Paper? Glow in the dark? Blinding light? Transparent?

FINALLY I have to use airbrush make up so I can add pure white to it, even with the lightest shade it's more white then foundation. It's about time they finally came out with something that will match us whiteys. I have also been wondering if there was somthing similar to what I use in my airbrush to make it whiter but for regular foundation, like how they make the color correcting drops (usually yellow) figured asking you would be the best place to start haha. Try the lumene cc cream! If you liked the bb cream you will love the cc cream even more!

There is a new lighter shade called Swan that isn't as yellow-toned and matches me even better than Snow did...and I really liked that shade. Swan is even better.
