they advertise its vegan/cruelty free but its not -.-* they test on animals makes me so mad. Emma blackery has a video on it. honestly makes me even more angry than company's that test and say they do.
I have a super oily T zone but I absolutely loved this foundation. sure it did get a bit shiny on my T zone but I just loved the way my skin felt. Super hydrated, soft, the finish was so even and not flaky or dry at all. I love love love it. My skin is like velvet lol I would totally recommend this to anyone with oily skin and wants a hydrated/dewy look.
I have pretty oily skin with a lot of acne scarring. This foundation is beautiful I absolutely LOVE IT. I apply it with a flat top kabuki and use my Nivea after shave balm underneath. I also use the nyx hd powder and the finish is gorgeous. It's so long lasting and I love it. I tried using a bb to apply it and it just wasn't as full coverage and didn't nearly last as long.
Hey I have this foundation and I have alot of acne scars. what do I use to apply it because I was using a beauty blender but u can still see my scars. And should I use a cc cream under my foundation?

I just wanted to let you know that I've been struggling with adult cystic acne and I'm 23 years old. I recently been trying out 20% glycolic acid pads & GIRL THIS STUFF IS LIFEEEEEEEE. My skin has never looked this good in such a damn long time, it really faded out my acne scars and helped with my acne in general as well. I definitely think you should try glycolic acid if you are finding trouble in finding any products.

I've been using it 3-4 times a week and it doesn't peel all that much than you'd assume. You just have to get a good exfoliator (I use a clairsonic with the deep cleansing brush) to just remove the dry patches.
Hey girl! First of all, you are beautiful!! I really liked this video. Just wanted to extend some advice for oily skin, I've spoken to several dermatologists and have done hours upon hours of research & tried this method on myself: Your face/skin produces more oils if natural oils are typically stripped from the face using products or face washes etc. so our face overcompensates for the oils we are taking out of it. THE BEST WAY to reduce our oil production is to PUT oils back on our face. And I KNOW that sounds absolutely crazy-I thought so too. However, I've been doing this "add oil" method for only a few weeks and my oil production has significantly reduced! So just a helpful tip for you! Each night, apply 3-4 drops of any natural based oil (I use pure Jojoba oil-found at Walmart and target in the beauty section) every night after you've washed your face and leave it on while you sleep. This has 100% changed my life! :) hopefully a little helpful. Message me w/questions!!

I struggle with hormonal acne as well. My skin constantly has active breakouts, scars, and redness. Shopping for foundations is always a challenge for me because I am so self conscious about my skin. I tried the Ivory too, it is by far the yellowest foundation lol. I also tried the shade almond, which is a shade darker in that undertone range. Weirdly, it looks less yellow, which is a nicer match, but it is darker. But there is no warm shade that is lighter than Ivory, there is only Swan but it is a nature and maybe a bitttt too light.
this foundation is my holy grail! i have oily skin and it still is amazing. just set it with the urban decay all nighter setting spray and it'll stay like glue. just a tip 😊
I have such oily skin and the foundation melted off my skin and just sat on top. I used it for so long and wanted it to work so badly😭 I just use Loreal pro matte now
If you have super oily skin, I recommend that you try the Dermablend loose setting powder with this (or any) foundation! I don't believe that having oily skin should keep you from getting a great coverage foundation because it's too dewy so this powder helps keep the oil at bay while still getting the coverage you want from a foundation that may not be the best for oily skin!

When I was younger I would break out all the time. It took me a long time to figure out that it was my makeup ( foundation ) that was making my acne worse. I stopped wearing foundation for a couple of months using only eyeliner mascara eyeshadow and lipstick. I only used a washcloth on my face and water to clean my face about 2-3 times a day and I have not 1 pimple on my face today. It was hard at first for me to let people see my exposed skin but it was worth it. I wear foundation now and I don't break out, I have to use a facial wash to clean the foundation off now but don't have any problems. I stay about from soap and cleaners ( like clearasil,etc)as much as possible:)

I have acne and oily skin and I LOVE this foundation!! I use an astringent toner and a mattifying primer before I apply it, and then I set it with the Too Faced Cocoa powder foundation. Doing all those steps really help the foundation with my oily skin! :)

Omg your so pretty without makeup and if you haven't already go to a dermatologist. They know how to fix your skin and do it as soon as possible. Don't push going to them like I did, I have acne and it's been a week and what they prescribed for my skin is clearing me up already and lightning up my acne scars. They know what they are doing!!!

I just found your channel and I absolutely love you! super excited to support you and you videos! my skin looked just like yours when I was younger, at 26 I still get a few blemishes buy it's gotten much better, so hang in there! I never would have gone bare faced and I think it's great to show other girls with skin troubles ways to cover and conceal!

I think after you applied it all over your face it turns out pretty good not too yellow .. I suggest you use the Vichy corrective stick for concealing the spots thank you for the review🌹
I would die of happiness if you did these exact types of videos but added concealer! Maybe it's just me but if im passionate about foundation then i am absolutely the same way about concealer. Review concealers please!!

I have such weird skin - oily with dry patches and this foundation seems to be great for that. It doesn't break me out as well. If you set it with powder, it sets well.
You're to beautiful! I also suffer from acne. Mine is mostly cystic and it is mostly on my cheeks. It used to be on my neck. The acne is better now but I have so much scarring. Believe that you were born this way for a reason! 😊
I have SUPER oily skin too and this is my all time favorite foundation!! I set it with the coty airspun powder and it lasts all day :) i enjoyed it with the beauty blender but i find the coverage is much much better if i use a small stippling brush to apply it; i can't go back to using it with the beauty blender after trying that method out!
honestly i have no idea if my skin is oily or not! it used to be quite oily in my T zone and normal in my cheeks, but nowadays my T zone isnt as oily anymore but i wont consider it normal. do you think this would work for me?

You should ALWAYS choose warm undertones anyway. Yellow counteracts the redness which is good for acne-prone skin. Even people with pink undertones should wear yellow-based foundations because it gives them warmth.
Sometimes that works (like on someone like me who has more neutral undertones) but it can look really when girls with strong pink undertones wear really yellow based foundations. It's usually better to get warmth from other products rather than choosing a foundation that doesn't match you, but it depends :)

I feel the exact way about this foundation. My skin is super sensitive, acne prone, and oily. But honestly this foundation is the best I've had in awhile. I mean it's over my Make Up Forever Ultra HD now.
So I'm on the hunt for a new foundation and I've been hearing good reviews about the born this way one. My cheap ass always buys drugstore foundations and my skin obviously didn't like it, and now I have acne problems. Your review made me want to buy it even more!! And I really like you overral ;)
You are so beautiful it kills me. Sadly I tried this foundation and I had to return it almost immediately. I have combination skin but I get really oily throughout the day. I wore it for an 8 hour shift and it just made me so incredibly oily I felt like the foundation was dripping off my skin. And wherever I do have dry patches you could see all the texture and stuff. I'm upset because otherwise it had good coverage. You could just see it all over my face but for you it looks flawless! I'm excited to see how it wears on you after a bit, I'd love an update.

I'm so glad you said it leans more on the yellow side because I got samples of the 3 lightest shades and they were all yellow so I thought I was going crazy thinking they were all yellow based
I love this foundation. Great shade match for me and feels good on my dry skin. It gives a nice natural finish. I have also found that Beauty Blender works best with this. With brush, it’s good but even better with sponge application. I can see myself loving it even more in Winter months. Thanks 4 sharing!
