Well jel! You got a good one there. I tried for the first time last week, got 3 bunches of very very ripe bananas, some rotting sweet potatoes, 2 very stale cinnamon swirls, jacket potatoes, apples and oranges. Never went to waste and made the most of what I got (which is the point), still managed to make 3 banana cakes, a banana Eton mess, cheesy jacket potatoes, a sweet potato curry and fruit for packed lunches. You've given me the inspiration to try again, thank you
It definitely gets the creative juices flowing when you get one of these bags trying to work out how to use it. I'm really fussy with bananas though so I'd have been really annoyed with your over ripe ones and I don't like banana bread! Hope your next bag is better 😀
Best bag iv ever seen 👍 , carrots and onions add a spud and you have a lovely soup And it freezes . Oranges. Juice and the skins with added white vinegar makes a great all round cleaner for the home . Make a healthy juice by squeezing the grapes . Well done 👏
I've had the app for ages but only had the chance to go and grab what was on offer a couple of times due to the time frame because of work etc. Shame we didn't get to see what meals you made out of it 😁 Maybe something for another vid!
That's a great bag. I picked one yesterday from Morissons and got 4 loafs of bread...I am on my own so that's way too much for me. Also, pastry was stale and 3 days old. I wasn't impressed. The only good bit were two bags of apples and one aubergine which were the only produce I got. It really is a bit of a lottery.
I was really impressed, some of it went to my son's girlfriend's house but from the rest of it all I had to throw away was 1 apple and a few potatoes. I cooked the apples, they go great in Ready Brek! 😋
Tomatoes mash then fry lightly with oil/butter, bit of garlic salt pepper thyme dash of oregano and a chicken stock cube and a splash of lemon makes a beautiful pasta sauce 🙂🤝
That is a phenomenal bargain. That is a lot of nutrition for a small amount of money. Cooked fresh carrots are yummy. Aged cheddar...I had to laugh a little bit at that--it would seem to me it will just continue to age? Surprised they put that in the bag.
Went to Morrisons yesterday booked through too good to go , arrived on time and then told “ we don’t do too good to go and never have” by customer services ….. not that impressed so far with my experiences but you seemed to have got a decent haul …..
Great video as always and you’ve also inspired us to do it ourselves, about to go collect ours now😂 I’ll reply to this saying how it went for me but yours was a great bargain!
