I prefer a full playthrough as one video. This way, if for any reasons you dont have the time for one of the episode, I dont have to wait a week to see the rest of the playthrough.
Ha good point! One good thing for me is I still will do the full playthrough in one night just break it up into smaller video's. This way the playthrough will not be interrupted (hopefully) but people can watch in smaller increments. I am going to try it for this video, please let me know if you did not like it!! Thanks! It is always hard to change. . and I am still not sure that is what I should do!
Got it Paul! I think I may do this. For games that are a bit longer, I may split them up (like TMB) but for games that are around 30-45 minutes I will just post 1. This way I can please both sides maybe? Ha! Regardless, I appreciate your feedback Paul!
Yeah, I agree with pencilpauli. If individual episodes are more helpful for you, have at it, but I like the long ones, unless you are doing multiple versions (i.e. once solo and once co-op)
This is BY FAR the best video I've seen for TMB. It's also much better than most videos I've seen for any board games at all. You're my new favorite playthrough video guy. Also, your TMB videos are of perfect lengths.

Ok, so apparently, I didn't really understand what was going on the first time through this video, but I went through and watched the later videos and started to figure things out as you went. But once I got a few videos into the playlist, this game really grew on me. Now I see why so many people wrote this as their favorite game playthrough on your "Questions" video from a couple days ago.
I enjoy one play through video, but I'll watch no matter what you decide. I appreciate the time and effort it takes to put content out there so do what makes it easier for you. I'm sure we'll all be cool with what you decide.
Re your question of episodes vs full playthroughs - id limit episodes to 45mins-1hr long. If it's over I'd consider cutting it, sometimes the playlist feature doesn't work (I'm on a phone mostly) so a link in he notes would nice if not too much trouble

Makes perfect sense! I myself watch most video's on the bus too and from work. I usually do not have a problem with the Playlists, but if I decide to go the route for shorter episode video's I will certainly place link's in the show notes. Thank you so much for the feedback!
The components in this game look really nice and well produced. I prefer episode videos just because it's easier to squeeze in shorter videos. But you should do what is easier and more enjoyable for you. Thanks for the setup video. This game looks like it's gonna be fun.

Even though you're not doing a co-op version playthrough, it would be nice to see how a two-person game might be played. Is it pretty much the same, but with more characters in the battle area?
The biggest difference is the batlle que as you take the number of Gearloc's (2) multiply it by the day count. This way you see 20 point baddies etc. But you also get to see combos of the Gearloc's which is missing in solo play.
This game is high on my want-list, it looks so good! I definitely prefer full playthroughs in one video - I sometimes come back to a video to check some details and it's much easier to look through that one video. But i realise that it can be difficult to upload many hours worth of content (unless you die early!! haha). I'll watch them regardless!

So, I watched through the series and really enjoyed it, but it wasn't until I watched Rolling Solo's explanation that I thing I've got a handle on the mechanics of the game. Before, it looked interesting, but now, I really want to play it! (Probably going to just stay on my wishlist forever, though, since the non-kickstarter version has so much less in it, and the kickstarter version is crazily expensive)
Oh my goodness, I just looked at prices and I'm now pretty much 100% sure I'll never get my hands on it. The cheapest place I saw it is still $200. UPDATE: Technically, Undertow is still on Kickstarter, so if I hadn't just spent my game money for the month already, I guess it could be possible. I guess hope isn't completely dead now, but still pretty unlikely.
I love this game, and play it mostly solo. I love that you have a playthrough on this and that you chose a character different from the others already out there. I'm excited about the upcoming expansion too.
So, theoretically, according to this link (www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/149889/too-many-bones-windows-download-information), a guy made Too Many Bones as a windows program and Chip Theory Games is letting him (encouraging him to) make it available free of charge. Beta testing versions should be available in like a week.
Have you played undertow and if so would you recommend it or the base game? I have heard good and bad for each and since I am not a millionaire I would like a better Idea on which one to start with. Thanks.
Happy to help. Personally, I enjoy Undertow's encounters more than the base game, at least a bit. The addition of the sea monsters and mechs adds variety, and the raft board is a lot of fun. And Undertow comes with a campaign mode right out of the box, which is nice. However, the big weakness of Undertow is the gearlocs included. It's only two. Duster is a lot of fun, but generally considered a bit weak tier-wise. Stanza is a great support character, but more complicated than most. The core game, on the other hand, has 4 gearlocs out of the box, and all of them are fun and fairly straightforward. And in the end, gearlocs are always the most important thing to give the play more variety. So I'd say either get the core game, or get Undertow PLUS at least 1 extra gearloc. Most people's favorites are Gasket, Nugget, or Ghillie. At that point, you are paying the same or more for Undertow and the expansions, so it's your choice!
I like the episode style. I often cant watch a full video so its ok for me if u bring them out one by one. This game looks like a lot of fun. But it costs a Lot of money:-((
Yeah, now I am starting to feel bad. You aren't the only one to say that. It certainly is not a cheap game, but MAN is it a good one. Hope you enjoy the game and let me know if you ever plan on visiting Minnesota!!
Not even a remote comparison. These chips are heavy duty, have a gloss on them, and really just have some weight. I cannot describe how much I appreciate the premium health chips!

Got it, I am going to try breaking this one up into multiple episodes and you all can tell me what you think! And YES my wife and I want to visit France, so it looks like we will have to come and visit!! I will for sure bring TMB, don't care if it makes my luggage weigh over 50 lbs!
