Tbh, I like it better when there's no music and/or sound effects. Nothing's more creepier than natural ambience itself when it comes to paranormal stuff. I know it's to set the vibe and tone, but I personally like natural ambience better. Subtle drone ambience is fine though. Not only that, we could hear things that perhaps they didn't catch as well. Casey, you guys should really consider wearing dust masks when entering the basements/attics of these houses or the old buildings that are falling apart. Last thing you want to ruin your awesome investigations (besides bat's lol) is to breath in black mold or asbestos dusts and get crook later. Just my thoughts. Keep up the good work

I joined a swedish ghost hunting team in an old castle in Sweden. I had the ovlius in my hand and walked around in complete darkness. Your eyes gets used to it and some light from the moon comes through the windows. The oldest part of this castle was form the 14th centruary so very old. I tripped on a rug and the ovlius said "Careful". It freaked me out so much haha. And when I got to a specific place in the corridor where an 8 year old girl died from tuberculosis the ovlius shouted SURPRISE. I almost peed my pants hahah

The "ash hatch" you found is where all the ash goes from the fireplaces. It's where the ash would fall during fireplace cleanup before a new fire would be set in the fireplaces. The old shoes looked like what a shoemaker would use to repair old shies with to save on the cost of leather back in the day. The attic looked as if there was a complete floor back in the day but with having to add in duct work old rotting wood can't be under the duct work to prevent holes in it. That home must have some history to it as it doesn't look as it did back in its prime. The attic looked as though it was used for servents quarters at one time but was torn down to what it looks like now. The two little girls were sisters. Back during the time it was done, parents would have had that style done for their daughters, especially if they shared a room at one point. I get the feeling something happened to them as the mother may have kept the pictures of the shadow boxes because one or both daughters loved dolls. The same could be said for the toys. Something tragic could have occurred to those two little girls, and the parents couldn't let go of the things that were important to their little girls. It was their way of mourning. The small bed is called a tremble bed. The other bed is kept beneath the slightly higher bed to make it easy to pull the bottom bed out when being used and put back when not. What is the full history of the home? It may shed more light. If the family who currently owns it now knows if they are family in some way could give cause as to why they are holding on to their families past or the same could be said for the current owners who may not have ties but want to keep the past family remembered.

When Casey was climbing the attic stairs, I started to get motion sickness with how much the camera was moving around 🤢 JUST FINISHED - What the hell do you mean "next week" I wanted to see you guys get out of that attic!! Maybe the "surprise" was to get you out of the bathroom so you could hear the footsteps in the attic, the "entity" knew you would investigate and then the "surprise" was locking you in there!!! Serial killers???? What you saw was years of a family, then a couple, having lived in that home. Most of those shoes go way back, and most likely they were worn by the couple that lived there. If you had ever went in my nan's, and great grandparents' closets and attics you would find exactly the same. Go into just about any home that has been lived in decades, and you will find the accumulation of a LOT of stuff.

If there was something that was heard, voices or anything like that. Pretty sure we would be hearing it the video would be made to let that happen. Just like they have with all the other noises and bangs. You would assume the boys go through the audio and video for everything before editing. So having the sound effect and music adds to the creepiness of this and other episodes. They don't do their videos like everyone else. It's well planned, investigated and camera work is always top notch. I have watching a video and they keep saying do you hear that and you can't hear shit. At least we get to heat what is there and don't miss out on anything.

It goes away as he gets closer because his light isn't hitting it at the angle that was causing it. know how you rub your finger on your phone and it leaves a streak? Same thing.

I have an old gramophone I bought years ago too, my partner at the time and I had it on an antique stand in the lounge room where we sat every night and watched tv, anyway this one night we were in there for a few hours watching tv, and when it got to about 1am we turned the tv off and we’re heading to bed, we got to the kitchen and all of the sudden the gramophone started up, only I had a record on there with it’s cardboard cover on it so it would protect the record from dust and also to protect the record player disc from getting dirty, so it wasn’t music playing, it was deep scratching, we shat ourselves as we had not had that wound up at all and we had the needle arm turned right around to the back and lifted, but when we went in the room needle arm was down and on the record scratching on the cover, we watched it scratch with the record turning for 10 minutes before it turned of. Scared the hell out of me and I could not sleep for hours. We took the arm off just in case.

@@windowsralf389 If you ever experience something in your life i can tell you from that day on you will think that this stuff is something that definitely can not be explained!i am also a believer in science and you if understand the devices they use, those are based in principals of science...but to continue, i had experienced something i can not explain 2 times in my life(and more when i was a little child, that my mother told me about,so much that she was afraid of being someone really following us into our home), although the two times i remember i had my girlfriend(now ex) with me at the time it happen, once right after her grandmother died and the other right after my stepmother died, i just mentioned these two events because of the experiences we had are some how related to them...i can not explained what happen in my head and she also can´t and we both experienced the exact same thing, we where both in our room, in the bed and after we in disbelieve asked each other did you heard/saw that?!? and we both in detail spoke the exact same words to each other, we finished what the other said with out knowing what we both was about to say...even to this day i can not explain, but i know i lived it!it was real!!we did not made up anything!now, i am a reality person, if i can see it and prove it, its real, on both cases, we both listen the same thing, and saw the same thing(we did not saw any apparition, it was something that happen to me that is not possible!). so by saying this i am just trying to make you understand life is not so black and white as we wish it is...we are energy and like science can explain to us in the universe energy does not disappear, it transforms into something else, to me this is the exact same thing, we are made of energy and when we die our energy does not die, maybe that is it, i don´t know...

AT the very beginning when they find the handprints on the window i swear i could see a small hand dragging across the window from outside when he turns to it and then notices them. It starts right at 6:47 it's a small hand and it drags down and then disappears. I thought it was just the handprints reflecting but there weren't any that high up when he gets closer.

Older houses down South especially often had a separate stairs for the servants who worked in the house. It was usually stashed away towards the back of the house so that people could not see the servants coming and going and so that they didn't use the main entrance to get in and out of the house. And please don't take this the wrong way guys because I love what you do and the things that you capture in your vids but you have to remember the audience you are connecting with here. These folks were part of the genteel South. To hear any kind of "colorful language" was almost unheard of by the likes of the people who lived in this home. "Colorful prose" wasn't something that they took lightly or engaged in. Your use of it might, shall we say, put them off on you being there. Especially things that use the Lord's name would have been a real no no for them. Remember that as they were in this life, so they are now in their life beyond this one. They still have the same likes, dislikes, sense of humor, etc. I think that is why you heard the door closing and then "surprise" on your Ovilus.

6:47 still gets me. Looking right at the handprints, and you can see something reach from on the other side of the glass and leave a fresh smeared one above the handprints that are already there. But you don't REALLY see what made the smear; just the mark of it appearing. Freaky as hell because it happened on cam and they didn't see it till someone pointed it out.
