I’m 37. Rule of thumb: DON’T ALLOW ANY MAN TO DO ANYTHING FOR YOU WHEN YOU REALLY DON’T WANT HIM. That’s a dangerous game to play! WOMEN lose their lives everyday for less. She’s young. She saw an opportunity and went with it. He’s older and at her age it’s pretty much unheard of that a male her age would look out like that financially. Still this has potential to get ugly because he only sued her to see her and he made that very clear without directly saying it.

I actually feel really bad for him. Yes, I think he’s controlling and some of his actions were kind of weird but I honestly think he feel in love with this girl and she was using him for what he was providing. I disagree with Judge Mathis on the part when he tells the defendant to "go ahead and forgive him"(the plaintiff). Why? That kind of attitude leads many young girls to become "doormats". (If you get my drift).Because when someone is drunk and they mistreat you, mentally and or physically, they expect you to forgive them.....so, (foolishly) you do. The next time they're drunk, they do the same stuff or worse to you. It's a rinse & repeat cycle. The drunk person will NOT change until ready to. The same goes for anyone who mistreats others whether under the influence of something or not. The defendant should reimburse the plaintiff for a fair amount of money he paid out when he was covering her rent & food portion. They both need to sit down and come to an agreement on what's fair. Once she pays him off, she washes her hands of him, for good.
