For anyone that likes movement in shooters I would recommend spellbreak it’s free, the movement is probably the best from any other game I’ve played and the combat is super fun and has a large skill ceiling

@@Ensnare15 well I wouldn’t recommend sadly the game is very dead as it’s had no support in months most of the people that play it are the tight knit community but the core gameplay is amazing if you learn it

this is why i can't help but have a love/hate for Sakurai, he made one of my favorite games and a masterpiece of competitive gaming but he just does not understand its beauty nor does he want to, he just wants it to disappear.

I can't say I agree, what makes you say that? Personally, I think he's the most competent game designer at Nintendo largely because he actually seems to understand that kind of nuance

yeah im not sure I'd say he wants Melee to disappear, frankly because we've never read interviews of him saying anything like that, only that it hurts peoples' hands which is true. he's also said he wants to lower the barrier of entry for later installments, which also ended up working. I think a large part of "wanting it to disappear" probably comes from higher-ups at Nintendo protecting their precious precious IP (and japanese culture's dislike for straying away from how the developer intended the game to be played) growing up as a fighting game competitor, I doubt Sakurai specifically had distaste for Melee and its community

Nah I don't. You'd be able to find plenty of movement videos if you follow specific games and their content creators, especially stuff like Melee and Super Mario 64. There's some dope Melee combo/movement videos. (GRSmash is a good channel for Melee)

@@Ensnare15 if u ever decide to make another one of these i would suggest checking out tempest records, kaidus, blindpyro, firestabber or even spy mains like klown or creeproot the original comment was probably pretty dumb of me to write (its kinda cringe) but there is significantly more to tf2 than a single walljump would suggest
