I too decided to cut all the CDs back and give them to charity . Copied everything on my USB Drive. doesn't make sense to have a Library of CDs/DVDs these days .. I like to have loving people not loving things. keep up the good work Dave

For the last two years I've been getting rid ( donating) of all my clothes, cds, dvds, books, comics... finally last month I decided to follow another drastic way to clean all this clutter, and I feel so much happier. The downside is: everybody right now is asking me what do i want for christmas. Bad timing XDD

Amazing Video but I have a question about your great buy-plan/paper... (which is an amazing idea) When you get to the question "Tried to borrow or rent it?" -> No -> "Still need it?" -> No -> shouldn't it go to "Do something else" instead of "Tried to borrow or rent it?" again? because if I don't need it why should I rent it? I mean that is better than buying it after I figured I don't need it but still this confused me. I like the idea of your wishlist even more :)

The only thing that bothers me about this video is this: charities should not be considered the dumping ground for all your uncurated clutter and even your trash. Just because it feels good to get rid of everything in one go does not mean making someone else go through the trouble of having to sort through your messes. It takes longer, but I prefer to use places like freecycle first to make sure things get to where they are actually needed and will be appreciated.
