Another 6'4" FJR rider here - I spent $$$ on Corbin seats, much better than stock and at least an inch taller. I think the reason that guy stopped making the footpeg-lowering kits is the pegs were contacting ground during hard-leans and causing low-sides (and probably lawsuits) - careful during turns. I too have the steering-nut farkle mount - but I got rid of the Techmount ball and riser and screwed in a RAM ball for my GPS. In hindsight I could have just taken the stock nut to a machine shop and tapped a thread into it but oh well.
Hey SR, I'm 6'-11" and have the same bike... AND, the same peg lowering brackets and bar risers plus a larger windshield. It does help but at my ht, nothing really fits. However, it's good for my daily commute and moderate weekend trips. Congrats on the bike. These are solid rides and should serve you well.
I have fjr and I'm 6' 5". Lower footpegs might cause problems in cornering....maybe. Handlebar raiser....good, have similar, about the navi/ phone mount.... had similar but caused problem due to glancing down ther for not keeping the eye on the road. Take care stay safe
The pegs have been great. I have not touched them down at all and I do like to do curvy roads. Only odd thing is using the rear brake. But I have learned to adjust my foot to reach it fine.
