He is perfectly capable of doing his job. He's had a few blips in memory a couple of times but a whole lot of people much younger than him have same problems and they are a whole lot more dangerous. The Executive branch of the US government has active policies in place what to do if/when the POTUS is considered no longer capable of carrying out his duties. The Legislative and Judiciary branches are also there to check and balance the power of the Executive branch. You should be more worried about someone like the Orange Goon who has publicly stated that he would do away with all the other branches of the government if he won the election again and that the President should have absolute power and total immunity from all civil and criminal liabilities.

Having lost my adult son, what I will remember from President Biden’s speech is his heart breaking when recalling being questioned about his beloved son’s death.😢💔 The special counsel was without empathy and was inhuman. So disgusting. The reporters screaming at the President also were so disgusting and unhinged. Horrible spectacle!

Two things stood out to me, first, the inappropriateness of the special counsel claiming he forgot the death of his son, that is unforgivable. Special counsel said a lot they had no business saying in an official report, including opinions that had nothing to do with top secret documents. That was a deliberate attempt to embarrass the President. And second, the President of Mexico comment. Unfortunately he was extremely upset at the time, the death of a child is the most devastating thing a human can go through and it’s sacred.

Joe Biden misspeaks. We all do. But his press conference was coherent. He stated the facts, admitted his mistakes, was defiant when needed. I have no idea how these investigations work, but inserting a subjective assertion (Biden being too old, feebleminded and nice in the opinion of the investigator) as a determining factor not to prosecute him, is absolute nonsense. All factual evidence is overshadowed by investigators subjective assessment of Joe Biden, and becomes the headline of the whole thing. Straight from the Trump playbook. Murk the waters, make a bombastic claim, and blow it out of proportion. So now the issue is not if the facts of the case, Biden's degree of negligence, constitute a felony prosecutable by law (which they don't), but the center of attention now is investigator's opinion (on page one of his report) that Biden is too old, nice, and forgetful to be convincted even if processed. What an investigator that is. Psychologist, and a fortune teller, a magician, who seems to be helping Joe (by not prosecuting), while at the same time he is helping Donald Trump by portraying Biden as a nice poor old man, not worthy of a trial. A "never lose" Trump play: if I lose election is rigged, if I win I win. I win anyway. If Joe is not crooked he is senile, if he is not senile he is crooked. What a twisted logic is applied here. Subjective valorization of one's character used as the central thing in the investigation. And Mexico...because when Joe misses it is a certain proof he is senile...yeah right...

I’m 50 yrs old And my memories around the time my grandmother passed ( I was 40) and when my father passed ( I was 45) are not the sharpest I was grieving 😢 Shortly after my father passed we sold our house… downsizing. I grew up in the black church and we were respectful to elders. There’s a large culture in this country that is so disrespectful to older ppl that it’s shocking and still sad to me. Someone who doesn't have memory impairment would remember the year their child passed away. That was the intent of the cognitive questions. He even asked, "Am I still vice president?" I'm frustrated as an American citizen and faithful independent voter. On classified documents, the fact we have had these investigations regarding classified documents proves there is a serious problem with the treatment and tracking of these documents. I don't think it's okay for people to possess such documents without penalty, even stiff penalty. I feel our national security is very weak in this area and I don't see that vulnerability being fixed. Serious negligence. The editorial comment made by the investigator was unprofessional and does not look well for either Biden or the person who said it. The reporters who asked Biden if he was too old, etc., ... I'm just not impressed with that kind of question. It is combative,and unnecessary. WE decide for ourselves if we think he isn't up to the job. Asking him is just grandstanding for attention, in my opinion, which is unnecessary and unprofessional. Biden's response was a mixed bag of good and bad. Misspeaking never makes anyone look good and if it happens, it's natural that those who hear it will each have their own inner reaction/judgment. It wasn't a strong moment, but can we move on please!? My big concern from what Biden said was that he described being in strong opposition to Israel's "over the top" actions against Gazans and Hamas. From the beginning I've heard him come out very strongly in support of Israel without any reservations. Only lately am I hearing him say Israel is not doing the right thing. In my opinion, it's far too little and way too late. We have royally effed up in the Middle East. We need to pull our people out of there, military and civilians, and only support humanitarian aid. No more weapons; flat out stop sending any military aid of any kind to anywhere in the Middle East and send no money for anything except humanitarian aid. Why did it take Biden so long to speak out openly in opposition to the slaughter of civilians? Why has he not shown outrage, horror and strong leadership in support of Palestinian non-combatant citizens?! I'm dismayed that we are part of heating things up in the Middle East. We should have two military focuses, Ukraine and here at home. Both actions are defensive and we need to have absolute domination militarily so we can present a safe and secure country. And no, imo, Trump is NOT the right person for the job of president. I'm not gung-ho about Biden, but I am 100% against Trump.
