I def read the comment wrong. I thought it said, *it took me 6 hours to comb my micro locs out* I was like wow that's great 😲until I saw that 8 🤣

They look great!!! I wish I had the patience for micro Locs. I am 10 months in but I have traditional Locs. I did comb out one flat loc in the back and WHEW! Took me like 20 minutes to comb out one! I can not imagine combing out my whole head! 🤣🙏🏽

I appreciate this video. I have been thinking about combing out about 7 - 10 locs in the back of my head ( nape area ) that have so much lint from… I don’t even know from whence it all came. This is definitely the video I needed to see to give me the boost I needed to just comb them out and reinstall them. Thank you for sharing!!! ❤

Oh wow, I thought you were taking out all of your locs! I did the same thing in the first 3 weeks of my journey. Took out some to perfect the parting and sizing. I actually took out 4 last week to redo them! Lol. But I’m only 2 months in so it’s not too difficult to take them dowb

I did lots of revisions within the first 2 weeks and several months after like 2-3 months but I guess I still wasn’t satisfied lol. I think I’m good now! I couldn’t take them all the way down. This is my all time favorite hairstyle!

I wanted to take down 2 of my locs to make into 4-5 smaller locs and boy do I wish I had just did this before I was 2+ years into my microlocs. But the Loc was so thick and bothered me and took 40+ min to take down 1.

Do you think the braid pattern is disappearing or is it still pretty visible

Around the edges and some in the middle the braid pattern has completely disappeared. Some places it’s starting to disappear and others it looks like a braided them yesterday 😂😂😂

Did you use the 4.0 rotation to retie your locs? Because I do want to take mines out but not only has it been 5 years but I use the 4.0 rotation method to retie my micro locs.

Yes! I do a 4-point rotation with my locs and it definitely took a while to undo.

I’m currently taking my sons 1 year old microlocs because his have grown upwards and he’s lost some length. His love are currently sitting shoulder blade length but the hair that I’ve taken down is almost to the small of his back

@@TommieMarie when I messaged her to confirm that it’s actually $2,000, she said yes. But if the client is helping her take them out, it’s $200 an hour. Needless to say, I’m taking them out myself. And my homegirl is going to help me over the weekend.
