One thing also is what rearend gear is in there that can also be pushing it through trans gears a lot quicker You might have a 4.10 or 4.30 4.56 in there

They were cool pick ups. I had a 1982 same as this! Gold color long box 2.8 V6. My cousin had an 85 and dropped in a 350 out of a 75 Monte Carlo That thing flew. Anyhow nice ride man.

Do you still have this truck? It has a th350? The way it was going through the gears fast, is called a "stacked shift" my 383 / th350 s10 did that when i first got it on the road. BEST bang for my buck before i went with a shift kit was adjusting the governor. Pops out super easy and theres a spring and weight kit for $50 online to mess with it. You vould even modify it without buying anything. I had mine setup so that it wouldnt shift into the next gear until at least 3000rpm while cruising. Never ran a kickdown cable on the th350 didnt need it. Hope maybe this helps!

You all buy like 20-50 acres of land. Each put $1,000 dollars in and make a straight 4 lanes mile track. Then each year one of you host a car show. Where people can do burn outs and things. Then during times, of the year where no car shows. The land can be a camp ground. Are put up small homes for homeless families. I would love to go into something like this with others. But all the people I know are out for themselves.

I got a 91 toyota with 4:10 gear front and back. I like that ratio except the 327 that I'm going to use for the power plant is probably going to be a bit much for those little rings and the w56 transmission. I really want to keep the truck a 4x4. What would you recommend?
