Tool - "A/Descending" + Official Visuals 2018. New official live visuals by Can Buyukberber used for Tool's new teaser song "A/Descending". canbuyukberber.... / cbuyukberber www.behance.ne...
Jew Slayer. It's kinda simple isn't it? It's not talented like undertow or anything else they have. Or is it? I'm not being a dick. Is Adam Jones.... Lazy?
Adam knows many movie executives having been in the business before Tool got famous. He was a sculptor for movies such as Jurassic Park and Ghostbusters 2. If he wanted to try making music for a movie I am quite sure he wouldn't have a problem. I really hope it could happen one day.
Pressure is on for them from here out ppl will be disappointed if the (possible) new album would turn out to be less than monstruous, they've been teasing us for too long at this point
I totally agree. I understand the enormous pressure and responsibility they have regarding the next album because of the high expectations from the fans.,I personally have blind trust in their work and talent, but still, the burden is super heavy on them.
They might be picky, who knows, but, I personally don't see them perfectionists, they just want to do their work with the highest quality possible as well as filling it with creativity and make it sound unique.
Tool is the closest thing I can use to describe a DMT experience. Disassociated journey into nowhere that makes complete sense of everything that was, is now, and what could ever be, all humbly experienced, simultaneously.
after listening to the latest recording, I kinda prefer this one, they go more places in the final version but this is kinda brutal in its relative simplicity
Was looking for this exact comment! I agree. This version is more trippy and hypnotic. They should have incorporated this arrangement into the final version.
That was one of the most mesmerizing cerebral pieces of music I've ever heard. It really did sound like it was not of this world. There wasn't anything familiar with it at all when the guitar melody came in.
@@rumisfordrinkingnotburning it was bad. No joke..Unless he was sick with a cold or flu...But if that was the case they should have cancelled the concert
odd how this turned into everyone giving years they were born. Anyway, YES! I remember standing in line for the midnight CD release. Excitement and pot smoke filled the air... Ah, memories.
Of course man, me too, I was joking because it's so good...but of course the best CGI still doesn't come close to the experience. But the best CGI of a psychedelic experience has to be the trip scenes in the movie Renegade. I think it also comes with the name Blueberry. Oddly enough, it's kind of a western and an Indian gives the lead character ayahuasca.
I know this is just a clip from a concert but this has remained one of my favorite bass tests on RU-vid the kick drums hit so ridiculously hard it never gets old
Dark red/purple hues...lots of floating little grape-like things...I'm starting to think this a convoluted subliminal advertisement for MJK's wine business.
HOLY FUCK. It hurts not knowing if you guys are going to release another album ever again. This is amazing. You are the absolute best band in the world!
tool makes music with literally millions of meanings....you make the meaning of the song by thought......what I've gathered from tool is reaching a divine state of mind
This is so rad! One of the best things I find about Tool is that it is educational, makes you learn cool and interesting things that expand your knowledge base and help you grow in the process. From Jungian psychology to transcendence and mysticism to Saturn return to magpies and their symbolism to morphogenesis and higher geometries in these visuals, and more. Plus their supremely awesome music always fills you with positive energy. Now if for some reason the new album doesn't materialize, I would still be happy with their discography. Honestly, I don't understand or know what to make of 'Viginti Tres' to this date! Ha! The best band ever! “After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.”― Aldous Huxley
Let "people" hate. Their hate is of no use, would only burn themselves inside out. People having differing opinions is appreciable, but judging someone based on something as trivial as a comment is jumping the gun. I enjoy listening to, and learning things from, Tool and will keep doing that. And it's common sense that I didn't mean to say I've an in-depth understanding of, say, Jungian psychology. But I do know something about it, thanks to 'Ænima'. Now what's so pretentious about that? Relax folks. Enjoy the music and visuals. Peace.
I keep coming back this video over and over again, definetely my favourite version of this song so far. This is just such a heavy amazing rythm and sound. Sometimes I feel like Justin, Adam and Daney should release loads of instrumental music...
Damn, you can really feel the Lateralus vibe here. I feel like 10'000 days was a bit too down to earth after Lateralus, which was a lot deeper in all senses, but this one really does give you that Lateralus feel.
i just found this new material while jamming puscifer's catalouge. my mind is completely blown. The visuals for the new material is AMAZING! and the new variations of old material? the new triad variation? i am going to listen to all these tracks several thousand times before my life is over. real tool fans know what im sayin. also, my eternal gratitude to 'anypath' and 'whoareyou?'. yall just blessed my life. hard.
@@tristanwalker1730 I dont think those are interludes, they are more like part of the songs that follow. Some great interludes are useful idiot, Ions, cessaro summability intermission, Lipan conjuring, lost keys and viginti trees
I saw Tool in 1998, the Aenima tour, I took two geltabs and they had awesome visuals on the big screen, like static naked people, u could make out the image for a second then it would morf into something else, I was blown away, best show I've ever seen. I've seen Tool 6 times now, and the 98 show was, by far, the best, Maynard was dressed like reverend Maynard for the first few songs, then stripped down to a pair of little red shorts, he had a stage presence that I hadn't seen before. now, he just kinda stands in the background, and u can barely see him, still great shows but not like 98. true art at it's finest.

***** Yeah, I guess I'll just take a plane out to see a band, I have real world responsibilities... Not everyone can just hop on a plane without a care in the world.
They did only *one* show on Halloween last year, the *only* show *of* the year. It was a great time :D I totally groped this chick in the crowd, and I mean, once you're playing with the nipple and she's clearly not kneeing you in the balls for it, I'm pretty sure *that means it's ok.*
*True story.* Something else interesting, once Danny came in on *No Quarter,* when he hit his *two crash cymbals,* I seen *two sigils* (like straight outta the necronomicon) *pop right out* as *pink puffs of smoke* and it seemed *no one around me could see them.* Now *yes* I had *already been high* off the *second joint* and *first blunt* that were being *passed around* (being right up front having survived the atrocious Primus mosh-pit of hell *there was weed galore*) but *it was NOT the ganja* man!
