Nice tool share Johnathan. One tool I've never seen you use I got from Thomas (exovcds) work verification paint pen marker. Thomas done work on vehicles and customer brought vehicle back for a problem he was sure had been tampered with so he started to mark the fasteners at the mating surface to verify it hasn't been removed as they do in the aircraft industry for liabilities.
That's a good idea, I have like 2 of the paint markers but they always drip paint everywhere. It's frustrating trying to clean that stuff off customers cars . Maybe I just need a different type of marker
One day a friend who owns a body shop showed me how he uses that air pillow tool at 11:05. If anybody locks the keys in a car that has windows with no upper metal sil, he slides that between the glass and the mating gasket up top. Then he inflates the tool enough so that he can slide a coathanger inside. He showed me how it works, very slick.
something else to consider, you can get a really good 3D printer for under 150 -200 now. good skill to learn too. never know what kinda one off tools or guides you can make for the next job (since prints can take forever lol)
I started my automotive career buying Snap On tools and the ergonomic grips were popular. So i purchased a lot of sets (ratchets, screw driver, etc) that had the grippy handles like yours. After a while of using, i felt like i was never able to clean the grease thoroughly. Lastly, i put a pipe on a ratchet to gain leverage and ended up ruining the grippy handle. Had to bite the bullet and purchase a new handle to fix the set. The older hard plastic handles is my preferred grips.
I wish they sold the Lang hose pinch pliers individually. Amazon has them listed at about a hundred bucks for three of them. Oh well it’s all good. I wanted just the one size you showed on this video.
