Great Reaction! The interludes are intros for the next song. in my opinion, many can be skipped, but some really should be included with the following song. For example, message to harry manback is not an important intro, but Parabol is critical to Parabloa and Lost keys is critical to Rosetta Stoned. Tool Army will let you know which to include. Spiral out!
You can either listen to the shorter songs/interludes before a song or, at the very least, listen to them on your own so you can get the full feel of Tool. Sometimes they are mad, sometimes they are funny, etc....
Love the song, the message, but the story baffles me. Accused of selling out before the 2nd LP? Somehow selling out between Cold & Ugly and Sober? I wanna hear OGT's version of the story!😆 These interludes (Intermission, Die Eir von Satan, Cesaro Summability, (-) Ions) can be listened to on your own, preferably right before you record the next song. Palate cleansers, if that makes sense. When you get to Lateralus and 10,000 Days the interludes add meaning/set tone and should be listened to at the same time. More important, IMO. Note: MJK has finger issues. - Don't point the finger (HWP) - Pointing every finger at me (Sober) - Wave a fatty finger (The Pot) (There are a few others you haven't heard 😁)
