For escape and relaxation reasons next to led zepplin this is my favorite band Po Box : 6457 Glenway ave, #122 Cincinnati, Ohio 45211-5233 If you wanna send me anything here you go ❤
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Listen to it in the Holy Gift track Order, and if you play the last song on that album at the same time as lost keys you will hear a secret message.
Every member is a virtuoso in their own right, but Danny Carey is regularly in “God Mode” on the drums. He’s just on another level. As for “best album”, for me this is “1b” to “Lateralus” being “1a”.
nfbuckeye outside of opiate I haven’t been able to rank the albums in the same order from day to day. Each album has a special meaning and mood setting ability that make them all outstanding.
@@yeahright1972 Agreed. They're all fairly interchangeable to me; but I find myself drawn to 'Lateralus' and 'Fear Innoculum' the most. Just flawless musicianship.
@@hellsSG You could argue that from 'Aenima' on. His drumming stands out on so many tracks. He and Chancellor are the best rhythm section out there today, IMO.
Dude, seriously moved to tears the second you said, "that drummer though", and the look you gave 2 seconds later as the drummer said, "here, hold my beer" and exploded! I am so enjoying your reactions as you travel down the spiral, down the rabbit hole, and finding a level you've never experienced. Welcome to TOOL. Keep them coming!!!!! We're loving it!!!!
Their older stuff is insane as well. Their instrumental has gotten better over the years of course, but the singer goes ham on their earlier stuff, which I think is more up your alley (your name being the clue :P). I would recommend The Grudge by Tool, awesome song; singer and drummer going nuts.
Best drum battle ever..... Dave Grohl vs Animal from the Muppets. Watching young crew fall in love with a band I've loved for 25 years is one of my greatest pleasures. Welcome to the Tool Army🙂🙂🙂🙂
I definitely think it's their best! I really love 10,000 days, but this album is beyond all expectations. It leaves me in awe every time I listen to it. Tool defines a musical genre all their own!
Why is it albums have to be compared to one another? This band has evolved over the years all while retaining the familiar sound that grabs us as TOOL fans. Just enjoy all the great music they have been nice enough to supply us and rock!
The fact that you recognize Danny Carey (drummer) as the backbone of TOOL means you are beginning to understand fully the greatness that is this group. Each member for sure brings their own greatness no doubt but Danny is the driving force behind all of it
Let me tell you. Seeing tool live for the first time was a spiritual experience. Saw them in L.A... and ive got a hotel booked and am seeing them again in san diego in January. I can't wait. Round 2 lets goooo.
I'm really enjoying your Tool reactions. Yeah, they're like safety to me too. I resonate with their vibration or something like that, it actually feels good to listen to them.
Long time TOOL fan here and now a new sub 🤘 I also struggle with severe and sometimes crippling anxiety. TOOL helps me get through the day and greatly improve my quantity of life. I’m anxious (pun intended) to see you keep spiraling out with us ❤️
Aside from the great songs... IMO the band takes you to a tribal spiritual gathering or village and blesses you in an out of body experience so wonderful, it takes you back to a place where humankind should be. That's why you feel so good after listening!
This album has grown on me so much for the past year, I honestly think it's their best. Close second is Lateralus, but Fear Inoculum is just so well done.
You obviously also experience FRISSON..... chills, goosebumps, shortness of breath! I feel sad for people that don't experience music this deeply......
I'm exited to watch your reaction to tool music, it's such a journey listening to their songs! As for their best album, I don't think I can pick one.it depends on what mood I'm in! I love them all in different ways, kinda like loving a child through out different stages of their lives, watching them grow and transform into what they are now. And I feel like I had therepy after listening to them. Keep on reacting to them and you will see what I mean. Fasten your seat belt, you are going for a ride my friend.
Good video, man! It's really cool to watch you enjoy Tool as much as I do. Every time I listen to a song from this album, I just find myself in awe, hypnotized, and always stunned at how incredibly good the songs are. They are savagely beautiful and they hypnotize.
@@Jess-gf4os you are so right! i first heard it at the Louisville show back in May, which was such a good show that i bought tickets the second leg of the tour in Cincy. An incredible song on an amazing album. You have impeccable taste in music!
ThatSingerReactions get ready for the TOOL FANS . We are a going to allow you to react to more TOOL reaction videos. If you play them we will come. Great job getting into the music of greatness. The drummer is the best in the world right now plus the entire band is amazing. Bring us more reactions.
dude, Trust me, when you'll do Lateralus, 46 & 2, Bottom, Opiate, Aenima or Rosetta Stoned your mind will explode! there's so many good songs I can't even name all of them. Lateralus is a masterpiece of art!
Amazing reaction as allways! Yeah this album is absolutely crazy. ✨Invincible makes me feel sooo many things... Go with the next song on the album next - Descending. Another awesome and important song.
Your reaction is how everyone should react- that understand. It starts your tool puzzle. Mine started in 96’ . Still hits me the same . Stay rad 💯⚓️💡☝🏽 46and2 and pot still my fav . Sober live where he is in red/pink whatever it is.- best live performance 👀. You feel addiction .
I'm definitely the contrarian, but their first album, Undertow, is my favorite ; Maynard's vocals on that record still smack me right in the face to this day. Though Fear Inoculum is their best from an overall composition point of view I feel, with Lateralus not far behind.
Its soo funny cuz you react exactly how tool be making people feel ...just when you think there's no more than they hit you with more crazy shit . you were like "You got me fucked up!" 😂😂😂💯😎
The thing i love about tool, and no disrespect to any other genre, they push the bounds of creativity in music over the limit. Something that a computer could never do. No matter how you program it, you cannot recreate tool. You cant copy them. Name one rap song that can do what this band can do. There isnt one. The human spirit is what creates music.
I like to have the lyrics visible while I rewatch your reaction over and over. Long in tooth and soul Longing for another win Lurch into the fray Weapon out and belly in Warrior struggling To remain consequential Bellow aloud Bold and proud Of where I've been But here I am Beating chest and drums Beating tired bones again Age-old battle, mine Weapon out and belly in Tales told of battles won Of things we've done Caligula would grin Beating tired bones Tripping through remember when Once invincible Now the armor's wearing thin Heavy shield down Warrior struggling To remain relevant Warrior struggling To remain consequential Cry aloud Bold and proud Of where I've been But here I am Where I end Warrior struggling To remain relevant Warrior struggling To remain consequential Tears in my eyes Chasing Ponce de Leon's phantom So filled with hope I can taste mythical fountains False hope, perhaps But the truth never got in my way Before now, feel the sting Feeling time bearing down Tears in my eyes Chasing Ponce de Leon's phantom So filled with hope I can taste mythical fountains False hope, perhaps But the truth never got in my way Before now, feel the sting Feeling time bearing down False hope, perhaps But the truth never got in my way Before now, feel the sting Feeling time bearing down Bearing down
Elizabeth Bannister had to stop and read along, knowing damn well I know this entire song by now. Saw them in Tulsa in October and I’m going back for seconds in NOLA January 31. It can’t come quick enough.
Not trying to shit on anyone but the Lost in Vegas guys might be the best review/react guys on RU-vid. This one just came out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iYp_ywkj0mE.html
From canada, Tool fan here for support, enjoy your “ Ride “. Weed and mushies help some....................................Cheers friend! Lateralus soon🤙🤘
The music is a tad low. Hopefully you see this and turn up that volume for our listening experience. Also Lateralus is their best album, but this album is almost cinematic, which is a different route Tool has taken for an album. This album is draining in a good way.
I love your descriptions at the end, please go and read the lyrics and Decipher them for yourself. This is my most favorite song on the album its about dealing with getting older and coming to terms with that also personal growth the whole album is about that and that we need to come together and be creative like we're supposed to be and stop letting horrible shit weigh us down and hold us back, get out of our own way basically be better humans don't waste our intelligence. If you start from the beginning and listen all the way till now you will see that he as well as the group have grown as people leaps and bounds and they started out more aggressive somewhat angry and they've led us on this journey Maynard has opened himself up to the world and explained it very vividly in his masterful mind of writing and singing it as well so we not only hear it but feel it, some people take the words too literal, he doesn't spoon feed and talks about very real, Relevant and controversial things. But the big picture is now hes trying to re tell that to an extent ( IE: As in the song Fear Inoculum "Recast My Tale, say Hey don't be like that, be more like this, look what I have learned from this life, my eyes are now open don't make the same mistakes. Now I think he's singing not just as outlet but for his children as well. Even in much of his other bands music as well. That's my interpretation of it anyway, also I've read his book which you will really understand him better if you read it. It all makes scene. He does so many things and he is a true inspiration. I kinda like to describe him as possibly a Leonardo Devinci, Galileo, someone major like People like that of our time. People who truly were creative and used their minds constantly who made an impact on the whole world who took notice. He truly is a genius I believe. They all are in their own ways and each a part of so many things like how can they possibly find the time for one let alone multiple. But this as well as all their music is open to your own interpretation keeps their music from being dated has a bigger impact on people I believe, however it's always fun to search for the actual meanings of the songs. But they're definitely not just Catchy song writers They actually make you think and feel. They're composers.
In my opinion this is their best album yet.It is their evolution and if you started listening from the beginning of their careers together you can appreciate it even more.
Brother I love that you go to another place when you listen...I go to a slightly different place with this song, usually I'm a Roman soldier fighting with my brothers, just pushing beat by beat against the enemy while we fight the test of time
I picture a barren steppe on horseback with this one on horseback... The only thing that really changes is the sky and the pacing is consistent yet energized by the sky as I would inelegantly put it.
About the third time I’ve gone through and binge watched a lot of your vids now, it’s been a month or so though since the last time. Can’t find a reaction to Descending, did you do that one yet? If not, buckle up my friend, that one and Reflection, among others, take you on a ride bro! Enjoy 🤘😎🤘
Awesome reactions bro, you really do feel the music! Can you please react to When I meet death by Time, the Valuator. Amazing vocals and new unique sounding band.
By most accounts Lateralus is their best, but Aenima is a close second popularity wise. Edit: It really depends on who you ask about which album is best or the rankings. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of them but it really just depends on your mood. If you want angry Tool and you're PO'd or you need to let loose some energy, then Opiate and Undertow along with about half of Aenima with one of the songs off Lateralus are definitely for you. If you want spiritual enhancement then all of Lateralus, some of Aenima, some of 10000 days and all of FI are your go to's. Focus on vocals more? Opiate, Undertow, Aenima and Lateralus(half and half really with Lateralus). More instrumental focus? Lateralus, 10000 days and FI. Finally, if you're in a creative mood then Aenima is the one. It's their most experimental album.
