FYI It was the only song that was allowed to be recorded. TOOL at Blue FCU Arena, Loveland, CO, USA Tour: North American Fall Tour 2023 October 3, 2023
Every one of them is a master. Danny is unmatched, period. Adam and Justin make it look easy.... but only because they are so talented and technically correct and accurate. Maynard is a lyrical genius. Tool doesn't need to showboat. They are all ridiculously talented and put on the best live show.
He's one of the greatest drummers just based on the fact that their songs are in such weird time signatures and switch back and forth often. He's a monster.
If TOOL was a house, Danny is the foundation and pillars. Justin is the bricks cements, and the roof. Adam is the paint, doors, windows, and the ceilings. Maynard is the furnitures, the wallpapes, and the garden in and outside the house..
This one must be tough, I remember when the album first dropped he came in on the wrong spot... the timing must be a bit challenging for him. At first I thought it was because it was new and they were still working out the kinks but... now? 3 bands and 30 years worth of songs and he never does this.
@@firstrowconcert I was also in front of Adam last year and most of my fotos are with the same trio as in your video. It’s natural I guess. Hey man, thanks for sharing this. The sound is cool and intimacy of observing them from short distance makes it really worth watching. Hope you had great time!
@@firstrowconcertspent my 2022 concert two rows away from Justin and this 2023 concert a bit further back from Adam. Both are marvelous musicians and are fun to watch, but they have very different performing styles. Justin is pretty dynamic most of the time. Adam is a lot more laid back. Personally I had more fun watching Justin, but imho you get a better view of Danny if you’re watching the show from Adam’s side. Thanks for all the work you put into this and for sharing!
Thanks for doing such a great job. Holding a camera steady, even a phone camera, for 14 minutes is a significant challenge. Tried my best at the SLC concert but with some occasional disappointments. I’ll have to spend some time working out before I go to their next concert and wait for this opportunity 😂
So glad i get to experience this song in person, Invincible introduced me to tool, had no idea it was these guys that made this magic even possible. We are ever so lucky to have these legends in our lifetime
I’m in tears and never read the comments .. but I scrolled down to look for this one .. and I agree whole heartedly! Soo epic!! What a beautiful moment to have been captured !
That these 4 dudes are in the same band is just EPIC, as close to perfection as a you can get. Even if they fuck it up now and then......NOT INVINCIBLE as the song indicates!!
This is beautiful .. thanx for being the annoying guy recording on your phone so all of us that couldn’t make it to the show can enjoy too! 🤙🏻 much peace and love from Southern California ✌🏻🖤
I just learned to play this song recently on guitar and this video was very helpful at seeing some of the little nuances that Adam does. He is just so amazing!
@10:28 did Adam and Justin just lean their heads on each other? That was really sweet haha. These guys have been brothers for years. It was pretty cool to see that
Never been a fan of tool. The passion of the fans honestly made me not even want to listen to them or give them a chance. Went an saw them at Aftershock this last year. I was impressed by how good the music sounded. I was not impressed with the "lack of energy" from the band or Maynard. He didn't say a single word while I was there, and I got butthurt about that. I left a bit early to beat the crowd. Came back home an talked to my friend who loves this band. His perspective and my obsession made me realize this band isn't there to entertain or impress anyone. They are artists and are there to perform their art. This understanding turned my whole way of thinking around for this band, been listening to them nonstop. They are so damn good. Really happy I was able to have a OpenMind about them. I look forward to seeing them live again, and I hope to be near the front, eyes glued and in a trance. Cheers.
They aren’t there to impress but they will take your $150 per ticket while making sure not to impress us. Fans pay a lot to support the band. They should show some appreciation, artist or no. That’s just called the advanced concept of not being a douche. The rest of the band is appreciative and come out for a bow at the end. JMK just walks off. Whatever. Be that way I guess. You’re still welcome.
@@JohnMegaton2062what are you talking about. Literally seen them many times. They all wave and bow 😂 literally saw them last weekend. They all bowed I even got photos Maynard was shooting his finger guns at the crowd and waving at the end of the show
welcome to the Endgame of Prog Metal ... these gentlemen are nearly an extinct species nowadays... and we all have to make sure that Rock in general is not dying. Tool got a blessing from an outerworldly entity for sure 🤘🤘
Such an amazing band! Have seen them many times and looking forward to next month in L.A. Adam kills it on guitar!! But then again, Danny, Justin and Maynard kill it also....haha.
Those critiquing Maynard’s performance must have vast insecurities and ineptitudes!! He’s human and has performed some of the most complex lyrics ever written. The songs are genuine and so are the members.
They all make up maybe the best combo of musicians of all time, i hate to say that but it could be true. Fantastic chemistry of notes that all compliment each other. Danny and Justin the Goat's for sure!!!
