@@brandonhinrichs387 Agreed. However!,... lol...The artistic experience is what matters. Said experiences are behind what he does with Tool and other things. Without those experiences we most likely wouldn't have Tool videos...which have been done as no one..NO ONE..else can. Just sayin'. 🖖😈
I think I speak for most of the Tool Army when I say we aren’t all too concerned with how well you do with odd time signatures right away. It takes getting used to but it’s really fun to watch people find their comfort zone and groove within polyrhythms over time. Tip: Try not to overthink or overanalyze it. Just relax and listen. Embrace the moment. You’ll eventually find your sense of rhythm operating outside the line.
Hell yeah you got to my favorite Tool song! An actual masterpiece. When Maynard was asked about this song being so impressive, he said... "I could do better."
Guitar is Adam Jones. Bass is Justin Chancelor. Vocals is Maynard James Keenan (pronounced Manerd with a hard A). And, of course, Danny Carey on percussion.
I'm not a "tool army" guy... I just like good music and will take it from where ever it may come... I was about to write that I love seeing all these black people reacting to tool... but no... I love seeing anyone reacting to tool... seeing everyone's musical envelope being pushed is just awe inspiring. Cheers from Costa Rica!
The one and only Adam Jones is on guitar. When Tool first started he was working in visual effects... he worked on Jurassic Park as well as several other big movies.
@ThatSingerReactions - To me the effect you're talking about in the intro reminds me of a heartbeat - and with good headphones you can hear a 'wooshing' sound, almost like the heartbeat is something you'd hear in an ultrasound (and the lyrics - black then white are all I see, in my infancy - red and yellow them came to be)
Tool Army here, that sound you hear at the beginning build up is an ultrasound heart beat of a baby. The man on guitar is none other then Adam Jones, nothing else needs to be said.................
To me the opening mimics the sound of an infant's heartbeat in utero and then he's being born and the song starts with black and white are all I see in my infancy...
I just clicked on here, because you wrote on the preview "Let them in your spirit." I wouldn't do that at all. These guys dabble in things you don't want inside you. Believe me.
This is written in time with the fibonicci sequence, hopefully I spelled that right. There's a you tube video of this song explaining the whole thing. I am NOT smart enough to explain it so go watch that video and you'll understand more how complicated this song really is.
Lol ..I thank you for writing this ..I am on a tangent of tool reactions ..and I have written the same...ish paragraph for EVERY time I re hear LATURALUS
@@slantz49 lol right!!! It would be much easier to sit these people down tell them to start from the beginning and enjoy the ride. Keep spreading the word🤘🤘
I'm guessing that nine times out of ten we've already heard the song we just want urreaction to the song but it's really hard when you keep stopping it because you're not getting it you are with a heavy head because if you will just letting it take you you wouldn't stop it I can't guarantee that right after the reaction you go and listen to it without saying a word thanks for sharing
Awesome reaction man!! Tool never disappoints. This entire album is epic. I can't wait to see your other reactions as you make your way through this album. Keep up the great content!!
Nailed it, brother. As a musician I'm always analyzing, but TOOL is best when you just do what you said--close your eyes and just let it take you where it's going
You really must see them live. If only for the fact that they play to absolute perfection live. But you might find it funny to know that other than playing at level 10 they do not quote-unquote cut it up on stage Adam the guitarist and Justin the bass player barely ever move the whole show. Maynard is in the dark in the background and you can barely even see him. In an interview they asked Adam how come he's not jumping around more on stage and he said ....I'm too busy Counting. Lmao I don't even know how they remember all the changes and notes to every single song to even be able to play them that perfect live but I guess he has no extra brainpower to be able to dance/ move through that. LOL
That climax on the drum you really should experience live, that release/final on that guitar/drum breakdown in the middle is possibly one of the best ever I have experienced.
Loved watching you react to this song (1 of my all-time faves)... I could see how you were really feeling the music, it's a beautiful thing! Keep up the good work... spiral out, my friend 😄
Also man, you should listen to all there albums in order, you'll hear what they started playing compared to what they're doing now. It's insane, it's not about 100 time changes or crazy guitar solos, it's about how the music makes you feel. K I'm done with filling the comment section 😆 good day sir🤘
Dammit!!!! you have a masterful way of pausing every song right at a transition... sometimes 2 of 3 times in each song. You did it 3 times this song already Maybe if you're going to pause, do it right AFTER the transition... not 8-15 bars after a transition, because you know the next transition is coming. you keep missing some of the best transitions. OH, and you do not have to pause TOOL. Most of the other reaction channels dont, and their videos are not taken down.
Dear please please please pleaseee please please pleaseee react to: ● Céline Dion Hits Medley Live Boston 2008 or All By Myself Live Boston 2008 ❤ #CelineDion Is PHENOMENAL !!!
Just think, you are only reacting to what you hear. Dive into the math and meaning of this song and you will realize what is actually going on with this song. Quite possibly one of the most complicated pieces of music ever written and you wouldn’t know it if you wanted to know it.
You need to do Push It off of the Aenima album. Link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GGm72iNBF8E.html Then do the live version off the Salival tour album. Link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EgDwkSlCwHw.html
