Every Ryobi I've owned has been a POS but that was over 10 years ago. Nice to see they finally make something decent. Let's see how it does in 6 months?
Just like most brands their are tiers. The cheap ones are cheap but the HP line are pretty good. I use 8 or 10 batteries a day through my half inch impact and it never let me down. Every know and then it get hot when it’s 100 outside but just leave it be for a few minutes and it’s fine. I work on train cars all day.
