Thank you for the great information. So good to have you stopped by. I will be in Pennsylvania for the month of July, if you know of any good flea markets within 4 or 5 Hour drive of central Pennsylvania let me know. You can contact me at toolscouter@gmail.com
I love flea markets. I always seem to find something that ive never seen. Usually end up taking something home that i dont need. Thanks for taking us along on your journey sir! 👍🇺🇸
Thank you Phil for coming with me from the UK on these outings. It’s a lot of fun to share and so grateful you enjoy it. Come back again soon and have a great day.
Great to meet a fellow Hoosier Terry. Yes, I like looking through flea markets in Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Thank you so much for stopping by the channel and sharing. Have a great day down there in Florida.
Thanks Max. I may just try to use that threader. I’ll have to keep a look out for the tap. I just thought it was for broomsticks. Thanks for sharing and come back again soon.
You got some great finds there. I really like the green pad wheels, the mop handle thread cutter and the wire brushes. That wrench was pretty cool tool. Your prices were very good. You have inspired me I may go to a flea market tomorrow.
Thank you so much for stopping by and good luck on your tool hunt. I don’t think I have ever felt it was a waste of time looking through the flea markets, especially if they’re of any significant size. Have fun and thanks for sharing.
Nice flea market lots of good stuff. I like all your picks long bits and cheek pokers for drill and impact are always good to have. The Utica-branded Bernard pliers were a good find.
Thank you Michael. These flea markets are always so full of things I didn’t know I needed. Always good to have you stop by and hope to see you again soon. Have a great day.
Regarding the Montgomery Ward Wrench - Years ago I used a MW branded Ride On Mower which came with a similar (but not identical) specialty wrench. It was for adjusting blade and wheel height etc.
HA!! This is why LOOOOOOOOOVE 'DA TUBE'! Thanks to FRED, we all know what that MW wrench is for!!!!! With out that little nugget of info, I would have been thinking about that wrench ALL DAY!!!
I was wondering if it wasn’t something that came with some implement or attachment. I appreciate you giving some insight on this. I hope somebody can verify it and give me some clarity on where it has come from. Thanks again and have a great day.
Like that parallel Utica pliers, very handy. That Pakistan Barlow might be worth cleaning up, you could use it for tough work and not worry about ruining it.
Thank you Larry. Another viewer said that Pakistan used to put out some decent knives. I’m going to look into it further and see if it might be worth fixing up. Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing. Have a great day.
thank you for the video. I live in southwest Ohio so i need to find out when flea markets come up in Indiana so I can check them out. Prices look to be marked well to sell.
Welcome Jack. Glad to have you stop by and I’m thankful that you enjoyed the video. This strawtown is just a little bit north of Indianapolis on 37. It is also known as the Hamilton County auto auction. The flea market is open every Thursday morning. I’m hoping to be there on the 12th of October weather permitting. Others that might be closer to you I’m not too sure of. You’ll have to do a Google search and I wish you happy hunting. Thanks again for stopping by and have a great day.
Just came across your channel really cool videos ... I do the Same in the Massachusetts area flea market hunting for antique vintage tools...Do you have any videos of hand planes that you have found
Welcome to the channel. Hope you’ll come by and visit often. It’s always good to hear from a fellow tool hunter. I have several planes that I plan to work on but I have not done too many videos on them yet. They’ll be coming in the future, I hope you’ll enjoy the videos that are here already. Have a great rest of your weekend.
Magdad did a restoration on a set of players like that ... very cool. And back in the day Pakistan made some decent knives... buck knockoffs and some others ... I saw brass in that Barlow I think? Maybe a decent one. Some of the old Pakistan knives were fetching good money a while back...
That news about the pocket knife is encouraging. I’ll do some more research on it and if you find out anything more, please let me know. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for sharing.
Somebody else said the same thing and I still have it. One day I may do a video on it. Thanks for stopping by and sharing. Have a great weekend and a Happy New Year.
I was given a Pakistan Knife back in the 80s, it was built like a tank and good quality materials all the way around, even the sheath was nice extra thick leather. The Parallel Pliers are nice.........My favorite is the Handle Threader, I'd love to find one like that for 2-3 dollars......Great Finds!
Welcome back it’s good to see you in the comments. You guys are making me feel optimistic about that pocket knife. I will probably try to clean that up and see if I can’t make it nice. I am curious how well that threader will work and I’m looking to try it out. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day.
If they are made well, nothing. But the last knife I bought said Pakistan on it and it was one of the worst fit and finish I have ever seen. I had to send it back, and when they sent me a replacement, it wasn’t a whole lot better. So forgive me if I’m a little skeptical sometimes. I have to admit that I’m rather impressed with this little pocket knife. I do want to thank you for stopping by and visiting the channel. Have a great day.
@@toolscouter because these knifes are made in my city sialkot. Happy to see pakistan made knife. And I also feel very good when you restore any tool got your channel from mish mosh scout crafter😜lots of love from pakistan
