There's so many great songs left I'm super excited for you, we all are, keep digging deeper your almost there, every song is our favorite 💯 thanks for reacting
Doing great! You seem to pick up on the polyrhythms, which is necessary to appreciate Tool fully. 46&2 is easy to digest like The Pot, but I think you'll like Sober both studio version and the live. The start for them. I always say, once you are hooked, it's great to go back to the first album and move forward. There's a 30-year progression across 5 studio albums with special inserts the Tool Army will direct you to. It's the best experience and the Tool Army will assemble. Spiral out. Keep going! 🌀🌀🌀
@@n2thealgorithm I feel you should do Sober next not that H isn't fire also. Tool is a journey best started from the beginning imo Looking forward to more reactions!
@n2thealgorithm H is heavier. No Tool song is bad. It depends on your mood and how dopamine deficient you are at the time. Later you will crave certain songs at certain times. Pointers to consider: do some reading about them. They are each an enigma unto themselves. By two more songs you will be calling them by first name. There are very few decent live videos of them. The Army suggests the best "pairing" as many are two songs that go together. Your ear can jump from instrument to instrument as you described. It's good to know then that Adam (guitar), Danny (drums) and Justin (bass) compose a song and perfect it before passing it to Maynard who weaves his genius lyrics and vocals around the music; not to it or with it. Lastly, always have lyrics up. Maynard is a poet laureate, IMO. EXCITED for you. I'm an all genre music history and theory nerd. Tool is at the top of my musical Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs 😄
@n2thealgorithm H is also really good. Manu people recommend The Pot, Sober and 46&2 because they are their more "radio friendly" and easier to follow and predict list of songs. You will know what I mean the deeper you get into them. They have some extremely unique music, and to this day there isn't a single band that sounds like them. They are all just so good at what they do, and I definitely recommend reading the lyrics before or after the vids, you will be impressed. He is one of the best lyric and melody writers I have ever heard
LOL. Welcome into the fray. I must say 1st tho......there is no other band like TOOL! (trust me this wont be the 1st comment saying that. I think nxt song shud be 46 n 2. See u on the nxt 1 n every other TOOL song u review
Next one is going to be sober then 46 & 2 ! Do me a favor and check out some of my other music reactions. They are all great songs (except the Eminem song lol)
I think imma do Sober next. That one has been highly requested. Do me a favor subscribe if you haven't done so already. Flip through some of my videos I've reacted to some good music
that's it, they are *all* a part of it, they are all SO good - the drummer gets a ton of well earned love, the vocalist obviously - but that bassist is insaaane, and the guitarist just deliiivers the hardest riffs, knows exactly when to draw them into insane feedback noise - they're all so good! It's one of the reasons the vocalist is a little bit lower in volume than most rock bands - he blends with the instruments, in a sense. once you get to know their vibe, you begin to learn how to bob your head also, theyr rythms are often complex, but you learn them - then you get right into them
Thank you for checking out the video ! Next up is sober ! Do me a favor subscribe (if you haven't done so already) and check out some of the other videos it's done interesting music
Appreciate it ! I am new to Tool this was my second song I have heard from them. You got any other bands or musicians in mind for me ? Also if you haven't done so already subscribe to the channel I would appreciate it
@@n2thealgorithm dude check out Karnivool Simple Boy, I think youll like that bass tone and playing, New Day by Karnivool is awesome too, also Tool Pneuma drum cam is a must.
Highly recommend: The Grudge, 46 & 2 and Parabol/Parabola (they were separate tracks for the album but they are really one track) if you want some stuff where they really stretch their art: Third Eye, Lateralus, and Lost keys/Rosetta Stoned I recommend for all of these tracks to at least have the lyrics available to check out (after you listen) I feel Tool is best experienced first then go back and delve into it.
Yoo that intro song goes pretty hard. I had to Shazam it with my phone wedged in my headphones lmao This is the second time I've accidentally stumbled upon some good russian music lmao. Pachka Sigaret (Пачка Сигарет) by Lizer goes hard too. Silhouettes (Силуети) by SadSvit is a bop and it's Ukrainian
I've been planning on reacting to some Russian music lol I've stumbled across a few as background music on Instagram clips. Then I got a whole playlist that I'm tempted to just splurge in but I want to react to them lol You're the first person that caught how dope the intro song is !!!
@@n2thealgorithm Hell yeah, that'd be sick. I don't think there's any reactions to those up yet, so I'd absolutely be back around to watch some Honestly though, they're pretty niche among English speakers, so I can't imagine they'd generate tons of views lmao. Super underrated imo Lizer's pretty big, Pachka Sigaret's video has 45 million views, so that'd probably be a decent one to react to. It's got really similar vibes to your intro song and is like comfort food for the ears. Silhouettes is super catchy and more like dance music and has 10 million views, which is more than I expected tbh lol Thanks for the reply! You seem super chill, I gotta check out more of your videos
@@Heroo01 I appreciate it ! I'm in this to find great music and connect with people. If the views come they come. If they don't they don't. I'll spin back around to react to some of those songs and there's a few more I want to do as well. I do a mixture of popular songs and niche
Dudes out here be seeing other people get famous from listening to one of the best bands in the world and now they jump the train. I wish you well good sir on your journey, I hope it’s genuine and true!
This is 200% authentic! I didn't know schism would do that well and I'm just going with the flow of what's recommended to me. I'm about to do some Russian song and some ska song too. The subs create my music algorithm hence the name of the channel
If you are getting into Tool and prefer Schism over The Pot, you may be ready for 46 &2 BUT, Ild suggest Sober first. You may like the Live Shot from the Reading Festival . This version has their original bassist. Spiral Out.
I’m subscribing for 3 reasons… most importantly. You look exactly like if Terrence Howard and Kumar dude from the White Castle movies had a love child….Two your listening to tool… three pneuma drum cam by tool and I will be able to tell if your full of it or authentic… already subscribed though lol
Lol thanks for subscribing "mane" lol. Next up is no quarter cover then the drum cam. I'm definitely authentic lol. Check my Eminem reaction and the comments lol. They hated me for not liking it
@@n2thealgorithm that’s the one thing about reactors I hate so I usually will crack a joke like I did with you and they get alllllllll bent out of shape, my man you laughed and replied and your willing to give an HONEST reaction
@@kevinabraham9260 definitely! That's because they're here for clicks and views. I'm here to build a community where we just give each other dope music to listen to. And the Terrance Howard shit was funny lol so I'mma laugh. I pictured him in hustle and flow
@@n2thealgorithm exactly so just know every time you react to a video now all ima see is you dressed up as a pimp bein all aggressive yet at the same time you loveeeeeeee weed and cheeseburgers 🤣🤣🤣 just give the guy his cheeseburgers
@@n2thealgorithmStart with Lipan Conjuring…then Lost Keys (Blame it on Hoffman) then Rosetta Stoned. I would highly recommend reading thru the lyrics while listening or before. In my humble opinion, this is the best trio tool does. The Lipan are a tribe in the Apache Nation.
