What about hdmi testers? Is there a tool that can help me understand if my cable is sending/receiving a good signal? I work in an environment where cables, and connectors unfortunately, get abused constantly and troubleshooting problems is always a hassle because we don't have either the time nor a monitor on hand
Can the RF Explorer be used to scan for wireless video transmission? I'm wondering if it can be use to find available frequencies for wireless video transmitters (Cinegears Ghost-Eye 600MP)
Like most of your stuff this is a Great video. I’m always trying to figure out what may be interfering with video transmitters/receivers and wifi devices whos physical positions and proximity are constantly being shuffled around all day on set. Any good new devices for that sort of trouble shooting? …preferably Mac compatible if a computer is required?
You'd need something that picks up more than just WiFi, so you're looking at a spectrum analyzer or Software-Defined Radio (SDR). RF Explorer: 2.4 GHz only: amzn.to/49hASeM or 2.4 and 5/6 GHz: amzn.to/3VI4Ghu I'm not going to make a specific product SDR product recommendation.
