Here is a brief history of the Hyster forklift with serial No: P005B03724J, Model:H5.0FT. This forklift had a problem sometime last 2 years. it was not starting and was down for over 5 months. When the repairs was being carried out, the following was replaced: 4 injector electric nozzles Rotary pump Cam-shaft sensor Crank-shaft sensor After repairs the equipment went back to operation. About a week work the forklift stopped working , no starting. Since then nothing has been done to the truck. Mr. Paul Stewart inspected the machine and discovered water in the diesel tank. He made remarks about the water in diesel damaging the electronic nozzles. With the introduction of the Gemster department as a technical outfit. we have carried out inspection and repairs on the machine, cleared error codes, another ECM was used in testing the engine, checked electrical fuses and relays in attempt to rectify the problem. Crank-shaft and Cam-shaft sensor was replaced too. Measuring the voltage on the nozzles after clearing all error code, 07.00volts was present. With the assessment of Mr. Paul and all the repairs done by the Gemster Team, it doesn't explain why only 07.00volts is present to the electronic nozzles. Tapping into your rich Experience on technical issues as this, We kindly request for your advise and technical solution on this problem.

Thanks for watching! You can contact me directly through my business Facebook page. I have a feeling this will need more attention than the comments section on RU-vid. Thanks again! 🍻

I am looking forward to seeing some hydraulic issues addressed. Currently I have a lift that does not want to engage the mast to the second level when it has a load. It does not have any codes, the mast channel is clear, there is plenty of fluid, the hydraulic filter appears to be free of obstructons, and it has been recalibrated. I think it maybe a valve issues. The lift is old and the company has decided to take it out of service soon. Nevertheless, I am interested in learning more about troubleshooting this type of mysterious issue. Thanks

@@magnoliamobileservice4534 This is an 8 year old Crown RR. I am not sure of the model number, but I can check next week when I get back to work.

John Doe so just to clarify. When you raise the fork carriage does not make it all the way to the top of the mast before the secondary rails start to raise, correct?

@@magnoliamobileservice4534 I am sorry for the late reply, I have been out from work on ELOA. Well, just before I left today I tried the lift and it works fine. However, the tech from the other shift said that when he used it to raise a heavy load the mast would start to engage the second level about a foot or so, then stop. The weekend shift tech, had asked me to order a load sensor. I could not find a load sensor in the Crown manual or on Crown Insite. Subsequently, a Crown tech was on site to replace a warranty part on another lift and I asked him to show me the load sensor. I expkained what the weekend tech said and the Crown tech said that sounds like guess work. He said there is no load sensor; the manafold senses the pressure and the problem is there. I do not have and hydraulic experence, which is why I was asking for a second opinion. By the way the weekend tech did say he re-calibrated the lift, and that did not solve the issue. Have you ever had a mysterious issue like this? Thanks.

@@JohnDoe-kp8xu Does the carriage make it all the way to the top of staging and then the secondary rails start to raise and then they stop? Or do the secondary rails start to raise before the fork carriage gets to the top of the mast? This difference matters.

Thanks for the info. Speaking of electrical issues, is it true that sometimes when a lift drives over a hole the controls are shut down and there is a reset switch? I was asking because I have a lift that powers on but no otther funtions operate after driving over a rough spot on the floor (a manager said at his old warehouse the techs would press a reset button). The only event code is 357, for an emergency stop switch short. However the spade connectors are secure and the SPST (in the E-Stop) is visibly moving when activated and shuts off power when depressed. Purhaps the issue is an Access 3 malfunction. What are your thoughts, given that this occurred after drive over a rough surface? Thanks.

I forgot to mention, the lift is a RR 5700 series.

John Doe there is a chance that the switch has some resistance in it and a shock from a pot hole causes the truck to see an open intermittently. Access module changes should be an absolute last resort. They are pretty reliable these days. I would need to check my service manual for a code 357 to see what the specifics are but I would start with a resistance check on the switch its self. The emergency disconnect switch is in line with the ignition/run circuit so any disruption in the signal can cause the truck to shut down functions but it loses and re gains the signal so fast the truck appears to have stayed on. I hope this is making some sense.

Greetings fellow channel viewers. As an update to the prior issue, Crown come on site. The reset button is misconstrued, which is technically the alarm/E-Stop. Prior to the 357 code, I think the code was 223 or 235, which stated see code 256. Hence the troubleshooting break down conclude a faulty Access 3. Additionally, from the Analyzer menue all modules displayed 32.5 volts and the ignition displayed 37 volts. According to the manual any difference greater than 2.5 causes the lift to shut down.
